I came up with an idea of having a few characters on your account that you can train and equip with implants and fitted ships then send out on several types of quests. for example PvP, pve and mining, each with it’s own rewards. PvP could impact sov or fw. for null sov, you could have attack and defend for a certain system say 400 points or something. then the defending alliance spreads there points out across a huge number of systems and only puts in 50 points. the way it would work is the attacking alliance in this case has more points so they can field more ships than the defenders or perhaps adjust tidi per the point ratio. whatever is easier for the devs but still takes away larger alliances number advantage. the larger alliances would then have to defend the right systems based on intel and spies or get attacked by small alliances and lose sov. PvE missions would award you with isk and a small amount of lp. and mining missions would provide you with random ore.
I thought this would also give new players a little more to do with a single account and older players a way to waste isk. I don’t know if this is possible even but it’s just an idea I had. it’s probably flawed in many ways, so any suggestions or constructive criticism is welcome.
