As I explained, the economy won’t completely collapse, but I expect it to take a serious hit. But as I also explained, that hit will take several weeks, or even months to fully materialize. I’m already seeing signs in the market, but it will take awhile for the effects to ripple through to manufacturing, mining, etc. And yes, people will adjust, but I’m still forecasting the net effect of all the adjustments will be to slow down the economy.
They already did the projections. over 85% of playerbase will unsub/leave.
They ? Haruspices ?
Citation needed.
What does that even mean?
Vague “threats” like this are meaningless and useless.
You’re going to just wiggle your claims about what qualifies as “a serious hit” to fit your argument 2 months down the line when nothing has changed and everything is still going fine.
As you use that word so often, I thought I’d use a word you would understand. It’s not a word I normally use.
I am not the one saying it is going to collapse, I am just saying that price changes are pointless now. even if you dont play the 0.01isk game naturally people will put up orders after you, below your price, there is little you can do except watch them and see you order get pushed further down the list, unable to change them much because it will kill your profit if you do.
Which means your cash flow is less so people wanting to get into making money on the market are hindered. those with multiple billions already will find it easier to suck up the change by simply waiting
unable to change them much because it will kill your profit if you do.
You should have put them on market for a decent price immediately.
even if you do people will still put order lower than yours, so the problem remains
Which means your cash flow is less so people wanting to get into making money on the market are hindered.
Only true if they don’t want to use their brain.
People are still making money on the market. Just because you don’t know how, does not mean it’s not possible.
It is obvious that if I am offered only 1-10% of the value of a small item when it is sold, then the reprocessing is usually always better.
Yeah, neglecting that CCP killed it with the max 50% base reprocessing rate in high sec.
In my young days I used to build a couple battleships a week out of drone poo (removed years ago) and the various crap I got out of Angel missions (also nerfed to the ground).
There was also the odd case that a stacks of 425 railguns were more efficient to move than raw ore, so you could sell the meta 0 (also removed) and meta 1 guns to haulers that would JF it out to null…then reprocess there to build ships with.
even if you do people will still put order lower than yours
And? They will lose money. Eventually they run out of it.
And? They will lose money. Eventually they run out of it.
You can’t say that because the source of their items could be various , from another station, from another time , a gift …
You’ll be always undercut in Jita , that’s the first rule of eve .
You’ll be always undercut in Jita
If you are not willing to use your brain, indeed.
Yesterday I place one offer for an item. It went and nobody cut me. Later I placed the same. Same thing happened today. So I placed another bigger offer (more items, same price). I’ll wait for people to cut me, in which case I will have to reduce the price from the sweet 43% margin I am making with current price(I accept 50% margin, after that I think it’s indecent)
You’ll be always undercut in Jita , that’s the first rule of eve .
I’ll just quote Andersen:
If you are not willing to use your brain, indeed.
Still waiting on that market collapse…
Sorry I don’t consider his opinion as valid .
he knows nothing of what he’s talking about .
Sorry I don’t consider his opinion as valid .
It’s not opinion.
I placed an order, 12h later it passed. did it again. Passed again. Just once is enough. But here twice in a row and you claim that “you’ll always be undercut in Jita” ¿?
topic is to long didn’t read but
speculators serve a purpose, to bring the sellers close to the buyers
this makes the good approach the “real price” and them the consumer can buy stuff at a fair cost
making the speculators life hard is at the end hitting the final consumer
my 2 cents sry for any incorrect english here
They said they wanted it to be like real life
Well, I guess they hate RL speculators too. Which is fair.
