Could you guys make a new Mining vessel for Alpha’s slightly better than the Venture?
Maybe twice the mining hold or mods to make the hold bigger?
I think they would sell for twice as much and be good for they economy too.
It would get more people to play at mining I think.
But what would be the purpose of such a ship?
You can already know how mining works as Alpha player, and if you want a better mining ship you can become Omega. The idea of mining stays the same though, you just get slightly better numbers as Omega.
A ‘slightly better Venture’ for example already exists in the form of the Endurance and Prospect. These ships are for Omega players to encourage Alpha miners to become Omega.

The only thing a bigger hold would do is increase the time you can AFK. We have enough of that as it is.

why? so you can free load the server resources more? buy/plex omega if you want a better mining ship.

What incentive would CCP have in prolonging the time you stay Alpha?

Omega’s would build the new mining ships 3 tiers would do nicely…more parts and ships to buy more parts to make more ore in the system is what I was thinking…
Oh yeah, no problem with that, lets have 3 different mining frigs, like the Barges, so Alphas can learn to make choices that they will need to do once having access to the more advanced ships:

Venture: stays as it is, highest yield, lowest cargo, lowest defenses (aequivalent to the Covetor)

Variant2: ~20% lower yield, ~25% more hitpoints, ~250% cargo (aequivalent to the Retriever)

Variant 3: ~30% lower yield, ~250% hitpoints, ~175% cargo (aequivalent to the Procurer)
Fine with that? Or did you expect just a… better ship?
That sounds nice may an extra low module on the 3rd
