New T3 industrial ships for low, nullsec and wh

It is you’re or you are, FFS!

A production ship! During battle you can produce new ships and create the never ending battle (except for downtime).

A BaseStar… I mean BattleStar for example

Check EVE’s latest twitch videos, they have shown off a precursor industrial ship, wouldn’t be too much of a stretch to expect precursor mining ships.

Here’s your T3 miner

@OP
What would be the point of a T3 barge/exhumer?
Why is such a thing needed?
If you can not adapt or learn to play then you die…sometimes slowly, sometimes in the blink of a single tick.

When the moons had regular ore, Ive seen 6 players multibox a fleet of procs and kill 28 million m3 in just 4 hours…
Did they have tank? yes
Did they have yield? yes
Did they have boosts? yes
Did they have firepower? should of seen their drone ball.

On the other hand though…
customizable Barges and exhumers, if I was a Dev i would take all the current ones away, then produce this supposed T3 looks from those designs based on how you fit your ship. There you go, now everyone gets 1 single barge/exhumer ship to use…ever. (oh definitely no Alpha useage)

Similarly to the OP I want a frigate that has the same amount of slots and the same tanking numbers as a Marauder but because we’ll call it a T3 it must have a covert cloak and do double the DPS of that Marauder, with frigate type tracking and damage application.

Obviously it needs the mobility of an inty, I mean if it’s going to cost a bit it better be good right.

It’ll be GREAT!

Its funny to see people talk about power creep, yes mining ships have had power creep. first there were only cruisers, then much later there were barges and exhumes then industry command ships (orca porpoise) then capital industry (rorq) ok so there are what 12 ships in the mining/industry family. power creep in the combat side of things has been a little more rampant so how about you stfu about power creep.

As for t3 mining ships this is a terrible idea completely unnecessary, I’m all for removing rorqs too btw, or removing all drone ability and make them command burst ships with the ability to compress.

The only mining ship that could do with a little love is possible the porpoise only because why would you use one if you can use an orca.

It’s a beautiful substitute for the orca.

I’ve gotten off grid seconds ahead of incoming hostiles with a porpoise, while an orca would have easily been caught and died.

Your inability to handle different situations is not CCPs problem.

Saying “Eve is not for you” because you don’t want to be part of a fleet when you mine is just ■■■■■■ imo. People play however they please and if they have a suggestion to make the game more fun for themselves, playing the way they play, there’s nothing wrong with that.
PvP folks on reddit do that a whole lot, and CCP has its ears perked up for them, no? So I guess there’s no harm in trying.

About the t3, I’d gladly risk my mining skills for flying one, adds more risk to the isk I’m flying and that’s what makes the game fun for me (sometimes.)
It doesn’t have to be as versatile as a t3c out there atm, hell, they don’t even have to be customizable. just give them a t3d setup, with maybe just 2 modes, 30 seconds cooldown so you can’t just go from “more yield” mode to “less align/sig radius/whatever” mode in the blink of an eye. I’d happily brainstorm for hours about possibilities here, there’s a lot that can be done.
At the moment, the latest patch has casual miners give up on mining, and capital multiboxing magnates just double up on it. The divide between those making ships and those blowing them up is widening…
A good mining pilot just has to keep an eye on local…maybe a t3 miner ship could bring some flair to mining.

Has a point, interesting idea - a t3d version of a mining barge - or a bastion/siege mode - increases range/yield/defence at the expense of being stuck in one place unable to warp away… mini mini rorqual

Hmm

The ship should be stuck on the rock until the asteroid is depleted.

I sincerly doubt that

Thats how it will appear if you concentrate on the two lame extremes of any activity to the exclusion of all other possibilities.

Why even mining ships? Just have mining stations.

Heck why even mine, just have ore appear

Why even

Wheeven

Because mission runners are a lot harder to catch.

Probably because there have not been enough threads started asking for T3 this and T3 that.

How does this thread keep getting necroed? It already died once, twice and yet keeps coming back for more punishment…
