New users limits - How long does it last?

I am trying to remake PushX’s service thread and it says “New users can not post more than two links” and I also can’t upload images. I would like to post several links for our customers.

How long do these limitations last?

I’m annoyed I can participate with the community via the forums even though I am logged in with an Omega character.

Don’t move it, PUSH it.

The limits ended up getting lifted once I viewed a few threads so all good now. A message notifying the user of how to get the limits lifted could be useful to avoid frustration.
