“With the most technologically capable corporations in the cluster contributing to the evolution and maintenance of a fleet that has an average chassis age of just twelve years as of YC118, it is widely believed and accepted that in all-out war against any other military in the cluster, the State Armed Forces would emerge victorious.”

In a full-out war, the technological advantages only reach so far. Much more important is what happens if the whole nations swaps into war-mode, both politically, psycholically and economically.

Since the Caldari State is owned and governed by multiple megacorporations that each have their own goals and the citizens “loyalty” is dependent on the wealth those megacorporations can distribute down to the population, I’d bet they lack efficiency in decision making, are held back by particular interests and most important they will lose their citizens backup once the population has to pay the harsh toll of the war costs.

The Amarr Empire might have older vessels, but far superior numbers both in combat ships and industrialized systems. Not even counted their superiority in espionage and sabotage. When in full war-mode, they will be able to spit out cheap replacements at a rate that no other empire can keep up with. And most important: Their decisions can be done by a small council without debates and hesitation, they don’t care for sacrifices they deem nessessary and they are totally reckless murdering billions if needed to hold or break a position. They won’t lose the backup of their god-believing citizens even if the war comes along with losses, poverty and personal sacrifice, all in the name of their Empress and God.

Yes, the Caldari State will win the first battles. But their high-tech ships can’t control or dominate a large part of the Amarr Empire as their forces would simply stretch too thin. Their success will come to a halt if attacked on many fronts at the same time and their backup at home will dwindle once the first Planets and Systems are burned to ash. They would sooner or later drown in a flood of relentless and indoctrinated crusaders in combat vessels that are easy to produce and can be replaced in sheer numbers.

We are talking about the economic power of 689 developed Solar Systems (Amarr) vs. 310 (Caldari) including more than twice the pool of population needed for crewing the ships, together with a deeply rooted religious loyalty of the population. No chance the Caldari win a full out war that goes on for a longer time. And that goes for Gallente and Minmatar as well. In any war-of-obliteration the Amarr would stomp over anyone else given a long enough timeframe.

In an all-out war, I’m sure the triglavians would win, actually. Their technology is centuries (probably millennia actually) ahead of ours, and their resources seem effectively limitless. They’re being sporting, tuning down their performance in the Abyss and across Pochven to let us have a chance at Proving ourselves, but we’ve seen their hulls fight the Drifters on even ground and win. If they wanted to they could beat us, too.

I’ll just add the fact that we really don’t know the full extent of power, technology & size of the Triglavian Collective, so should the Convocation choose to mark all of K-space poshlost, it’s possible the Empire’s get extirpated wholesale ム

Ok.

But add some spice.

Let empire conquer full sec and turn it into high sec where players face risks and challenges every day. :face_blowing_a_kiss:

ya because If the winner can’t reshape the, did they really win?

so let the victorious empire/alliances redraw borders, claim territory, and force the rest of the cluster to adapt.

Don’t you think it’s fun where winner can change the map this game.

They hyped us about pirates being able to change security levels (down) of a given npc sov area… then the aplication of the idea is an efect limited in time that autorestarts without intervention of empire militias… it equals to a looping farming for multiboxers and irrelevant waste of time in the grand scheme of things.

The recent idea about caldaris conquering null sec pockets is interesing, but would be more fun if the npc faction sieges sov null sec instead of one of the last places where free players can live in peace their gold rush dream…

Guess touching any of the gigamultiboxing’s and etc. landlords domains in any significant way that may disturb their isk making machine is sin.

The Jove return and wipe everyone out.

Seems like a bait thread by another newly formed forum alt. But it doesn’t have to be one faction ruling over everyone else. That’s a juvenile mindset. We have several factions, they all have their space. Sometimes there’s conflict between factions, other times alliances will be made. There is no abstract scenario where there’s no diplomacy, no alliances. Won’t happen.

First ones to be wiped out should be these brand new forums alts cluttering the forums with their spam threads. Just post on your main, and if you don’t have the courage to post this stuff on your main, maybe you should keep your trap shut.

Whats a joke. this is all roleplay NPC fluff. EvE used to be about player wars. The game is still ok but its just a poser cashcow of what it used to be. You are all roleplayers if you give one fk about NPC factions. CCP is selling water to a well… not even spring water, its corn syrup tap water.
