No Choice in Starter Corp Anymore?

I made a Vherokior and there is no starter corp options. I was automatically placed into Pator Tech School. Is this supposed to be the case or is it unintentional this early?

Maybe they’ve already started implementing game mechanics pertaining to Exordium Region… Supposedly when it goes live:

The central CONCORD constellations contain the 12 new starter systems, into which new players will be dynamically placed as they finish the AIR NPE. These starter systems are no longer split by empire. Instead, rookies will be placed based on the load of each system, so the new region can dynamically adjust to accommodate periods of high newbie influx.

So basically you now have to reroll characters if they end up placed into the mining school rather than the business or military ones? With the biomass timer.

In Exordium, there are only 8 schools (not 12); the military ones have been dispensed with. Make your milschool alts before they no longer are possible. Also don’t try to do the Exprdium Career Agents until not-CCP fix the damage from NPCs (it presently does not exist).

I have been there. I am the source. 8 agents, and at present those agents that require you to be killed by an NPC don’t work.

If you want a source on deaths: Exordium | Region | zKillboard shows only the “explode your ship” starter missions, not “kill at least one rat then die” starter missions.

(Edit: and they don’t work cos u have to kill npcs then die to npcs …)

so each school only has 4 agents instead of 5?

There are 8 sets of agents not 12, but still 5 Career Agents to do.

Edit: in addition to the 12 sets in regular space. So, atm, 20 sets of agents.

I made a new alt today, no choice. Ended up in Chaven of all places. Urgh.

im sure that once everything is up and running on june 9, all 15 agents across all 12 schools will be active..

The Exordium Region won’t be fully active until June 9… I’m thinking various aspects and specific content for that Region is being implemented in stages…

As for only having 8 Career Agent systems in Exordium Region, according to the Dev Blog - Introducing Exordium | EVE Online :

Well, the primary hub system of Exordium, known as Manifest, is centrally located and within easy reach of all the other systems in the region. It includes a new AIR Trade Center station, which will serve as an excellent meeting and trade location, as well as the stargate to Yulai that will serve as the primary entry and exit point for Exordium.

It specifically states 12 new Starter Systems so yeah, it’s a very good chance there’ll be 3 sets of 5 Career Agents per Faction within Exordium Region…

Like I said earlier, Exordium Region doesn’t actually go live until June 9… Whatever is currently active in that Region is probably for testing purposes…

First they remove the ability to create portraits in the character creator. Then you have freak bugs that make ears stick out or max out chin width. They won’t give remodels for this bug, but they won’t get rid of the 10 hour wait period to delete either. Every time a character is deleted for not coming out how expected that’s 10 hours of training time wasted. It should be the length of time the character exists (up to 10 hours max) with a 10 hour time limit to tweak the character’s appearance before it’s locked in. But they are apparently too dumb for that. Now this. This is just more dumb for the sake of being dumb.

Since they did not make all schools equal distant to trade hubs they aren’t all equal. Some of them are too far away and just make it tedious to move possessions.

Erm. I don’t understand unless I missed something.

There were previously 5 Career Types x 12 Career Systems = 60 Career Agents.
12 Career Systems.

At the moment (and for the forseeable future) there are the Original 60 (5 Career Agents each old 12 x CS) but now the New 40 new sites open (5 Career Agents (unchanged) x 2 Career Sites (no longer 3) each Empire x 4 Empires).

There are now 100 Career Agents to choose from, 20 Career Systems (8 new)

The 8x new CA missions are mostly-working (Soldier 5 needs attention from not-CCP/FC in Exo as cannot be completed due to rats not damaging players).

(Maybe you meant 5 not 15 ? Per system ?)
