For an objective of some kind, fun or not.

Heres a secret: bigger ships are often designed to kill smaller ones.

If you want to kill very good ships then you either need to be incredibly good or well fitted…preferably both…and also know beforehand if you even have a chance in the first place…

It’s different if it’s an objective, but I don’t think these guys are doing objectives. I think they jsut fly around looking to pad their killboard and never engaging anyone that could actually kill them.

If you are just going to be defeatist then no one here can help.

You either stamp on a potential threat or run away from it.

There is no other way.

It’s just annoying because the only people I ever find are people flying faction frigates.

Well while theres nothing stoping you from getting one, and tbh why wouldnt you choose the best tool for a job, fitting out 20 Punishers/Incursuseses whatever is much much cheaper.

I know a seller who’ll supply you very very cheaply.

The more you practise the better youll get. No one is perfect first time.

My 2-bit suggestion is this:

  • know how YOU want to fight (kite, brawl, Ewar, bla bla bla)
  • find the best T1 ship that matches that roll from above
  • look for fits that matches your budget
  • learn what skills you need and train for that specific build
  • learn which fights to take and when you run
  • when you undock, resign to yourself that the ship is already lost
  • have fun exploding others and being exploded…aim for a 50/50 split by the end of July

I’ll try to learn the tristan. That looks the best since I already have maxed drone skills and prefer kiting.
