Notes for Contacts?

Is there any way you can put a note next to contacts? So more than just a standing system, put some text.

There is a Notes tab on the pilot info, used to work. Haven’t tried it lately.

Thanks. Everyone calls it “personal notes” which got me confused as I was searching the UI
