November Release - General Feedback

it was too much fun for those of us without massive combat skills to paint and neut attackers from the fort.

How come the Eve Launcher doesn’t port back to the main monitor if a second monitor happens to die (while running dual monitor, of course.).

Why a Venture can fit Industrial Cyno but Prospect and Endurance can’t? It’s not consistent with T2 Industrials being able to fit one. Guess it’s one more thing CCP forgot to add.

because it’s not necessary?

And why it is necessary on Blockade Runners and Deep Space Transports?

Because the original design called for all Industrial transport ships to have access to them. Industrialist complained that the options were inconvenient so they added the venture as a super cheap throw away option.

Naw, its just another way of removing forms of asset safety by stealth.

Wasn’t there a big speech recently by CCP Rise about this? Are we surprised the outcome is almost the reverse?

Removal of the covert cyno from the prospect in exchange for an industrial cyno would be a blessing.

Rather than giving it another purpose it was never intended to fill, a better soluteion would just removed the covert cyno in exchange for something closer to purpose–make it immune from Dscan.

Have you fallen to the bait Prospect too many times? :scream: Would bait Cranes be less scary?

No, I usually ruin their day with a shitty breacher and a well placed mobile disruption bubble. Its one of the reasons I have so much distain for the hot dropping crowd, most of them go on about how they’re trying to remove stupidity from the game and hunting whales that are AFK farm bots, yet many of these 31337 hunters can’t be bothered to warp to celestials and just got gate to gate.

Their either cyno in their blops team ( the cyno fuel alone makes the loss of a breacher an ISK positive win ) or the prospect slowly gets ground down with drones and rockets.

Eve used to have actual fights, nowadays it seems to only happen as part of organised content, or its a blob fest. Doesn’t matter if its a dreadbomb/super drop or a bunch of bridged black ops, its a sea of kitey nano crap or seal clubbing gank.

The drone and watch list changes are indeed very counter-intuitive - most players read information left-to-right, which is the case in the drone and watch lists (unlike the ship health indicator, which we simply have to look at to interpret)

The new health indicators are also plain ugly, and are of different sizes between the drone and watch lists…

Why aren’t they just circles like ship damage is displayed?

That “super cheap throwaway version” is more expensive than a T1 industrial because you need rigs and mods that cost more than 2 industrials. Typical CCP fix for a thing: Make everything worse. It’s about time that CCP sees reason again and reverts this utterly idiotic change back to the reasonable state before they went bonkers. Combat cynos can stay restricted as is but industrial cynos should not have any fitting restrictions.

Do you have a fit for this? Genuinely curious

[Venture, *Simulated Venture Fitting]
Expanded Cargohold II

on Cyno Level 5 can carry enough ozone.

Theoretically speaking as cannot imagine many ppl will fit and use this.

No worries, it was fixed 2 weeks ago but someone forgot to post the patch notes - they are up now.

Medium autocannons got a bunch of moderate buffs to hail ammo and the turrets. However, why the typhoon is now a cheaper Raven Navy Issue escapes me entirely.

I haven’t found anything particularity wrong with the typhoons performance other than a tad light on cpu like most matar ships I looked into so far.
I guess the typhoon can now drop a rig and has room or a different one.

As for the tempest navy - yeaaayyyyy!!!11111eleven

Sorry, that ain’t the current conversion ratio between multiboxers and soloboxers.

Sounds like an in-space version of the bug/new feature where sometimes if you select a stack in inventory while docked (at least in a citadel, not sure on NPC stations) to see its estimated price, its volume in m3, etc. etc… if the window loses focus, if you alt-tab out, or sometimes just if enough time goes by, the stack info mentioned above disappears and the inventory window in question goes back to showing the full estimated value of that hangar/can and the full volume in m3 of that hangar/can and not the stack you clicked on anymore.

And in trade hub local… this won’t cut down as much on that, but yeah… should cut down on the newbies putting cheapo bounties on other newbies for no reason/because they spoke in corpchat.
