NPC's Gank more Miners than Code

Bollocks. Rats drop modules which can be refined.

If the majority of miners stopped mining, Iā€™d reactivate my multi-boxing operation and start mining in earnest again; I wouldnā€™t be alone in this either, scarcity being good for the bottom line.

A lot of people mistakenly believe this. Luckily, James 315 dispelled this myth on his popular blog: www.minerbumping.com

Youā€™re making the mistake of lumping bad miners in with good miners.

There are plenty of miners out there who are doing it properly and arenā€™t whining about CODE. on the forums. Good miners, the ones with proper tank, proper fleets, boosting ships with PANIC modules, defense fleets ready to respond, etc., will not stop mining. In fact, if bad miners do stop mining, itā€™s just even better for the good ones, since the Ore is more valuable.

I see this ā€œthreatā€ most commonly parroted by irrelevants in EVE Online. The ones who mine AFK in a Retriever in highsec, thinking that their 1.2m isk worth of Ore mined per hour is contributing in a meaningful way to pvp ships. While in Nullsec, organized fleets are mining 100m isk worth of ore per hour per Rorqual.

Trash should know its place and not overestimate itself.

Lol i think its way more, but i get the point.

Depending on what you mine, sure.
But the minimum one can expect is around 100m/hr.

For a minimum yes, i agree

Anger, fear, aggression - the dark side of New Eden, are they. Easily they flow, quick to join you in a fight. If once you start down the dark path , forever will it dominate your destiny. Consume you, it will

He is at Jita IV - Moon 4
What ship? We can Duel?

Just camp the gates and use a suicide smartbomb fleet to get him if he tries to leave.

Take your pick

This was the whole reason why I had contacted the enemy to do my evil deeds in the first place.

I donā€™t know about that, I sort of started to test the waters on the other side and it made me feel kind of bad in the stomach afterwards.

Iā€™m not referring towards all the hard work building rep to 5.0 as I had done so before destroying it down to -1.5 but now back at 3.8

I am referring towards wondering did I really get out of this what I wanted? Do you ever feel that way or had you ever had second thoughts about maybe I should have skipped that one etc?

The cookies, they are a lie.

Yeah, I check everybodyā€™s profiles before I gank them. I blew up one guy in a covetor that had a German bio. I didnā€™t bother to run it through Google translate until I was writing his follow-up evemail. As far as I could tell, it was a heartfelt plea for peaceā€¦ I probably should have convoā€™d that guy first.

My favorite targets are the ones with openly hostile or inflammatory bios - I never have any regret about those.

Many people who say that they donā€™t like mining also say that they donā€™t like staring at rocks all day.

A little secret miners donā€™t stare at ice or ore all day tooā€¦ hehe

I miss the ingame browser, thereā€™s a few dhtml games that worked in it; my favourite whilst mining was an old school classic, Lemmings.
