Id have said good bloody riddance.
Sounds like a threat.
Not the brightest spark in the bunch are you…
conquerable outposts did not work to securely store your assets, it was merely a biproduct; and most people stored and manufactured out of pos’s which had no asset safety; so you are in fact, wrong.
There are no medclones in WH space and getting rid of jumpclones in wh citadels would mean the same for everyone, everywhere, in all citadels. your comment makes no sense except to point out you dont like wormholers.
I doubt very much you are an amusing person or know what an actual funny story is.. and that wasnt. It feels more like a nullsec player that uses bots attempting to convey some half a****d bs story - and i garantee pvpers were not whining.
PvPrs are constantly in your nullsec; have you tried actually playing the game?
What makes me laugh is that the f1 monkeys are under the illusion that hitting the F1 key makes them a leet pvp’ers When they come to high sec though, they learn the hard way, that nullbear f1 monkey are is lowest from of evolution, even lower than the rock munching miner.
I genuinely fear/respect lowsec pvpers, especially the solo hunters. Cruising through NS exploring relic sites have been a breeze.
CCP tried removing local in null. While I think it was great, alot of null bears QQ’d and stopped playing.
But I had the most memorable fight during this period. PVPers were randomly bumping into each other and dueling. I remember one time I was in a cloaked Proteus and watched a Heron hack a relic site. Just as I was about to pounce, a Saber decloaked and attacked. As the Saber blew the Heron up, a Legion decloaked and killed the Saber. I followed up by decloaking, and killed the Legion, lol.
Wrong. It existed in the form of outposts being indestructible. Your assets weren’t at risk, just your access to them.
Meanwhile stop ganking fishing boats - thanks
They lost half their growing player base in 14, Didn’t seem to bother them then.
Maybe its time to go back to that playstyle. Oh, wait, losing the microtransactions would cost them more?
Nulsec is very scary and almost as scary as WHS
You have to get out more! I find no part of eve scary. Even if I can do nothing more than annoy them. ![]()
@Chad_Frostpacker You should really turn to the Dark Side. With the new players we have today, its not much different than mining and doesn’t take much more effort for much greater reward. Fly safe!
But flying dangerously these days is not so dangerous as it used to be…
I’m just going to mention that I left the ore hold empty then went to the shops, returned to find a full ore hold.
You are either daft or being intentionally ignorant.
No, he’s right.
Eve lost about 40% of it’s player base in 2014, and everything they did to cause that drop is still here today. There were a lot of major changes, like PLEX, citadels and Sov mechanics, that are still part of the game today.
Finally, we agree on something.
Merry Christmas!
He does have a point but I don’t think he’s right. It is much more complicated than that. Sure the changes back then with jump fatigue and plex and all that had an effect but you could equally point to the lack of meaningful content that caused the drop. I don’t think anyone would want to go back to the days of snuff or goons being able to project everywhere at any in a matter of minutes with a super fleet. If memory serves too there was some really big controversial fight that involved server issues that had folks angry as well. It was a massive storm of issues.
What it boils down to is this. A game going from 60-70k concurrent to 30-40k sucks for sure but the game already being struggling to hold 25k and dropping to lower than 10k is death and the only change during that period was local going black. So they knew exactly what caused it.
Fozzie sov was 2015, Citadels came out in 2016, PLEX split was in 2017? I think.
