None… unless the ESS room mechanics forced a fight vs any incoming defenders… i.e if you and your fleet start looting, you are locked into the bubble until the rob is done.

Im just thinking that with this ESS thing, there’s no actual extra encouragement to PvP for anyone.
Krabs wont, because they are krabs, thats a given.
Ive been thinking of trying to steal the isk from some, but there is no advantage to me to make a PvP ship for it, when I can make one better for stealing and getting away instead.
Im not sure if I can TL;DR this thought any more concisely.

I’m pretty sure CCP is aware that the carebears won’t be fighting for their ISK …
… and that most other people won’t care about fighting for their ISK either.

ESS has actually made null sec boring, you form go into ESS dudes are sitting 100KM away and warp off. I get the disruption part but putting it simply there is no point your either in the ESS with a second account capturing them on the warp in or it is 50/50 that they want to brawl or apply cancer.
For what really as they dont achieve anything do not add to game play and do not even threaten your space.
CCP is basically promoting NS to be as chaotic as LS which does not equal sandbox
It is still a sandbox - you just don’t like the sand.

No I dont like the sandbox that is suited for you as opposed to the peeps that made something out in Null. I could always flip and do the same thing with the same amount of impunity.

EDIT: maybe I judged ESS too quickly let me find out some facts first.
What is the % of bounty that goes into ESS?
If it is a low % then I actually like this idea, and if the bounty has built up over days and months it might help promote more roaming fleets chasing ESS.
So protect your ISK in the ESS.
Krab in ships that can PvP and warp to the ESS when a thief comes in.
I do think that the jump range from the gate needs to be drastically reduced however…
