Nvidia update problem

(g0nz028) #1

Hi,
I would like to crosspost a problem that occured today on my system. I’m running linux mint 18 and since a driverupdate eve doesn’t run anymore:

I appreciate any help.

Here’s a screenshot: https://imgur.com/a/kHtLE

edit: seems this guy has the same problem on windows too: https://www.reddit.com/r/Eve/comments/7p6yus/new_graphical_bug_with_the_new_update/

Looks like the same issue I have described in my post 10 minutes ago.

It’s the same yes. Didn’t see it before. I changed my post processing settings to low and it works. Had it on none before.

edit: nvm, issue sorted

YMMV, but I got the scene to start rendering by forcing a change in shader/texture settings and was then able to swap back to high quality again. It seems to be working fine after that.

NVIDIA Driver Version: 384.111

I have the same issue. The warp bubble loading screen gets stuck or it goes black and I have to adjust resolution to get my picture back. It happens frequently and I’ll contact nvidia as well

I’m running 387.34 (debian sid with experimental release nvidia) no problem here–did not change any settings–just logged in & was on for 1 hour–station, warp & mining looked normal.
