Yesterday someone asked me if the Takmahl Mass Cloning Device could be used for culinary purposes.

I assumed they meant cloning of food animals, which would be trivial, if expensive. The TMCD is not exactly cheap to run. Could do plants too I guess, but that would be even more wasteful of energy and materials.

But they didn’t mean that. Turns out, what they were wondering is if the device could turn out cloned steaks, ready to cook. Which was an idea that I had never conceived of.

I suppose it could be done, but it would be quite spendy, and for questionable benefit.

Really? You couldn’t tell who the armed woman with the body of a pre-teen boy, obsessed with your chest, was? Even after Flavors ended up with a bloody nose and gave an obviously-forced denial of ‘Kimilia’ as fiction? I think it’s pretty obvious who they both were, and find it hilarious that neither one had the courage to come without the disguises.

Next time, maybe you should drink a little less.

Oh yes of course, it was like they’d never seen a pair of boobs before. Rather odd, I thought.

But no, I couldn’t tell who they were with the amount of thought I was willing to expend on such a task.

At parties, I prefer to use thought on solving mysteries like “is that cheese or turnip on those cocktail sticks?” rather than figuring out who has come dressed in what was clearly a disguise, in order to cause an inconvenience to the host.

Which as Synthia would tell you, is Quite Rude and a breach of party etiquette. Making a scene at your own party is okay, if a bit overly theatrical. Causing a disturbance at someone else’s party is just rude.

Once upon a time, there was an IGS forum poster that posted something that was completely fictional, but touched their heart in some way.

Then another person told them that it wasn’t a story, but a prayer, and told them to not post personal story prayers in the story thread.

Then another person wondered how long it would be before other fictional story prayer people would rebuke the original story teller,

Then the forum mom popped in again and told them to move the story prayer.
