And get an omega sub for 6 years for 6(-ish) USD/Euro a month? (Which I can split into as many accounts/characters as I want).
$6 x 12 months x 6 years is $432. If you have enough extra budget to drop that at once for a game, you don’t need to worry about sales.
It’s the principle… really. Not a fan of FOMO.

If you happen to live in a country using another currency than USD and if said currency has a better exchange rate then that one that CCP uses (1:1 for USD:EUR e.g.), then you can pay marqueedragon via paypal in USD, which paypal then fetches from you in EUR and you save on top ( 14-16% as example if base currency is EUR). That’s the so called quadruple save, which includes discounted PLEX with on top 3% rebate, with rate conversion bonus and finally buying discounted playtime from NES with the PLEX.
If you mine gas, you don’t need to pay at all. I am still in the dark on PI ( no first hand experience ) but I question the videos I have watched about making ISK from PI. If you want free omega, anyone can produce 2.5 B ISK over a month. Buy 500 PLEX with the ISK and get one month of omega.
I don’t bother with plexing omega because, it makes the game less fun, like I am working a job. Also there are other things I like to do and I don’t care to be chained to an online video game due to a financial investment. I do spend money on games, but I like the ones with virtual items, that other players cannot destroy.
Find your fun, if you are having fun playing as omega, then it is an entertainment value. Like buying a theater ticket or attending a sporting event. Those things cost you real money and should be enjoyed.
