In the months since my previous statement on the Deathless Circle I’ve been increasingly at odds with the organization. The more that has been uncovered on their influence on the independent warclone community, the less I like.
It’s one thing that they backed the Krullefor and directly contributed to the destruction of warclone enclaves in Molden Heath during the Skarkon War. It’s another when there’s emergent rumors of the Deathless Circle hosting a Sleeper construct that they have coerced their operatives into partially merging with. But what really took my distrust to 11 was the contribution of The Quartermaster on their virtual construct. One would think that someone who played a direct hand in assisting Fatal and the Guristas in tampering with infomorph thoughts and memories would be a bit of a liability when you are asking the formerly imprisoned warclones under your ward to trust that it’s safe jacking into your neural network. Careful with these audio records by the way. I bet it would be pretty demoralizing for the line members if they found them floating around in Hrada-Oki caches or Guristas datavaults. Ironically if it weren’t for this new neuroheuristic clone mapping we probably never would have thought to go back and check what we can pull out of old pilots’ skulls.
Having said all that.
It has been brought to my attention that the initial Siege of Zarzakh has been lifted and the Deathless Circle is seeking retribution against Ancient Enemy Azdaja. Some rumors even hint of plans to assault their hives directly, with the aid of Arkombine and other warclone auxiliaries. As warclone auxiliaries to the Collective, Varyazi Clade has unique combat experience assaulting Azdaja positions in wormhole space and in limited incursions into Bujan. Moreover, exterpation of Azdaja in all domains and the degradation of azdaja materiel remains a top priority with any unresolved conflict between us becoming a relatively minor issue. For these reasons, I wish to hereby advocate for the renewal of a Revolutionary Coalition between warclone auxiliaries loyal to the Collective and those employed by the Deathless Circle at least until such a time that the Drifter Threat has sufficiently degraded. I will never, under any circumstances, be a direct agent of the Deathless Circle. But I and other Triglavian loyalists are willing to collaborate against our mutual foe and engage in Combat Proving deep in the heart of enemy azdaja hives, shoulder to shoulder if necessary.
On a personal note-- I’ve been following The Deathless for a very very long time and been tracking their actions even before I could identify them as the primary force behind them. I studied them even when others thought I was grasping at straws to connect two unrelated events, or when they acted in a way that wasn’t conducive to their current ambitions. But I never gave up the trail, because I knew it wasn’t about a perfect master plan sorted out years in advance in a smoke-filled-room. When I found a new piece of the Deathless conspiracy, I saw the actions of a survivor moving in whatever direction they could who knew when to take a step back, consolidate, and redefine themselves based on what they’ve amassed. Unlike them I can’t boast about having brought the Angels Cartel and the Guristas to the table, or having contacts inside The Agency through Intara Direct Action and Ostrakon. But we play the same game, if not in the same league. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t have some level of begrudging respect for them in a way, from one survivor to another. For any Arkombine Agents reading this now, just remember that without solidarity survival becomes a zero sum game.
Anyway, I kind of ■■■■ in your hand with that whole Quartermaster thing. Sorry you have to wipe that off. I look forward to renewing our retribution pact against our mutual foes.
