When you switch Strip miners using orca for Other Strip miner. The mining beam is not visible for other players flying around until you dock/undock or jump thru gate. Possible bug?
Ideal to secretly use type B crystals on rare ore instead of residue-less equipment, and nobody can tell!
But yea, that sounds like a bug.
Modules and module effects not showing up after switching ship or modules in space is a long-standing bug in EVE.
