So I was looking in the compare tool, at “Mega Pulse Laser II” and “True Sansha Mega Pulse Laser”
They’re almost identical, except the sansha turret has 3.75x damage modifier vs 3.6x on the T2. Cap and CPU usage is also lower.
In the fitting window, with the T2 guns, I see 1304.0 dps.
I swap the T2 for the sansha turrets, believing it will boost my dps a little, except it drops to 1261.2 dps. Same ammo.
Can someone explain to me why the compare tool shows it should be a boost, but is actually not?
Correct me if I’m wrong but I recall the faction guns have lower requirements as they don’t need the specialization skill, start with a higher damage multiplier but don’t scale with the specialization skill so with good specialization skill levels T2 outperforms it.
