What happened to performance lately? I recently logged in after a couple months away, and game performance is awful now. video stuttering, and lag are major issues that I’ve never seen before. I’ve got a decent gaming rig, Ryzen 3800x, GTX 970 card, 32gb ram. What can I do to fix this?

Turn off DX12 and/or lower graphics settings. Someone with a 3090 had to lower the Post Proc settings to low and turn off Ambient Occlusion to fix performance issues.
that’s crazy. the game looks no different that it did 6 months ago. What did they break?
Graphics improvements like better nebula resolution, dx12 features, vsync and so on.
