I have a huge amount of crashes whenever I’m in combat.
There doesn’t seem to be much pattern to it. I don’t notice any recurring errors in the log listener.
I have a pretty high end rig. I’ve set the graphics to default mode and turned off anything fancy.
I’ve quit discord because I’ve heard it causes issues.
I’ve raised a bunch of support tickets but have not had any feedback.
Eve used to be quite a solid game when I played a few years ago, but now it seems very flaky. I haven’t been able to find forum topics or guides about what software makes Eve unreliable.
Considering the absence of any other recent posts along a similar vein, I’m going to guess the issue is either local ISP or one of the nodes along your traceroute.
You could also have had a component in your rig go bad. Years ago I had a similar issue, and it turned out my graphics card was defective but for some reason only impacted Eve Online.
Have you tested your memory yet? You can use MemTest86+ or Memtest86. The first one is open-source and the other is signed by Microsoft, but they both do pretty much the same thing.
