Eve Online crashing shortly after entering combat on higher end PC

I have been playing Eve Online for a year now. Built a new PC 6 months ago. Today, going into L4 The Assault mission, I have crashed by 7 times. First crash happened after maybe 10 min with 30 enemies on screen. Then crashing faster and faster with fewer and fewer enemies. Now down to last 4, then 2 enemies and crashes 60 seconds into combat. With no drones, Salvage drone, or 4+ combat drones. Just goes to not responding.

I just found a windows update and rebooted.
Uninstalled Eve and reinstalled it. Crashed within 60 seconds of combat twice.
Yesterday was an Nvidia update, but no beta stuff.
I have run launcher as Admin.

I have zero challenges in other apps. A 500 mbps connection. I have run Adobe Suite Premier and InDesign and Acrobat with no challenges.

This is a clean system using Bit Defender with Eve Online White Listed.

Try again after rolling back the video driver update, NVIDIA has been having issues, I would not be surprised if there is another round of them.

I would, but it crashed 1/2 the time before the update just the same. Then the Video update, and still crashing.

To me, it sounds like a hardware related issue, I suspect something didn’t get installed correctly, Driver?, OS?, possibly worst case would be a fault on the hardware itself.

Did you have any issues on your old system?

I would blame either the GPU or Windows 11.

I’ve heard bad things about 11 and gaming.

My old system would crash sometimes in battles. That was infrequent and a totally different system. But that was 9+ months ago so hard to remember.
