I recently started Tier 2 PI on 4 chars and I have issues transferring products from Launch Pad to Storage Facility on all accounts. It works sometimes, but most of the times it doesn’t. My process is: collect Tier 1 resources from the planets, drop them off into the customs of the P2 manufacturing planet, move them to Launch Pad, Expedite Transfer them to Storage Facility. This only works sometimes; most of the times I get the error in the screenshot and I’m just stuck. I tried closing and running again the PI interface, leaving the system, Epithal at customs, Epithal at planet, at dock etc, restarting the game, restarting the computer, leaving home for a coffee, going around the block, going for a long ride.
Anything to go around this without quitting PI or throwing the computer out the window?
Not sure how you got to that conclusion, but I don’t abuse anything. I left everything untouched on one of the alts, came back after 48 hours, tried to empty the Launch Pad, still the same message.
Looks like Expedited Transfer is still on cooldown:
Wait out that timer before you try again.
To increase how often and how much you can transfer with expedited transfer you can click the link you made between the storage and lauchpad and upgrade that link a few times.
Personally I took a lazier approach when I used factory planets: I didn’t use storages. Instead I used multiple launchpads so I never had to use or wait for expedited transfers. Yes, the launchpad has slightly less storage and uses significantly more CPU than the storage facility, but that’s only a problem if your planet is short on CPU, for example when you’re using High-Tech Industry Facilities.
In your case you’re upgrading P1 to P2, so I guess you should have plenty of CPU left.
