Is there a fast way to pull the PI information from all of the planets in a system? I’m trying to map out the best PI sources within the 6 jump radius of each of our corp offices.
The Agency allows you to easily filter on types of planets based on amounts of jumps from a system and compare their sources.
Using the Agency window still requires you to manually enter the resource density information into Excel. It also fails to provide POCO information (who owns it, what the public tax rate is), and you still have to manually map the routes out to each of the planets, within the 6 jump radius, from the corporate office you’ve chosen. The Agency only gives a handful of the planets within the 5 and 10 jump radius from your current location. So, you end up having to go to each corp office, use the Agency window to manually collect part of the information your corp needs within 2 jumps from that office, then move out to each of the systems at the edge of that radius, and repeat the process. This is a poor choice you’ve recommended as it is definitely a slow process. I’m looking for a method of using the Excel add-in to collect this much needed information.
Being able to collect this info quickly allows corporations to compare planets within 6 jumps of an office, and direct corp members, that work from that office, to the best planets for harvesting, based upon the tax rates and material densities. Knowing who owns the POCOs in the area allows the corp to negotiate more favorable tax rates with the POCO owners in addition to what the assigned pilot’s skill adjusts for. (POCO has a public tax rate of 25%, Pilot’s tax code skill of 5 brings it down to 20%, Corp’s relations with the POCO owner may result in another 5% being knocked off that rate, bringing it down to 15% = huge advantage over the corp’s competitors for those resources in that region).
