It was their intention to create these massive corps/alliances right? And remove the once small, 1-5 man wardec corps that Indy players could defend against… right?

I was actually going to troll you a few days ago when I found out that half of Jita Holding joined PIRAT.
But I thought it best not to.
So all I have to say is this;
If this is truly your swan song, then go away knowing that you, made friends, made enemies, fought, won and lost, but most importantly and hopefully you had fun while doing it.
We will all eventually have to make the same decision sooner or later.
Ultimately this is just a game.

Dont be a douch bag and leave the game. We poke eachother but this was out of a mutual need to have an enemy. Ccp has facilitated this situation in part with war dec changes, but at the end of the day we drew the line in the sand for everyone to join.
Were actually not arrogant or idiots. Were a group of friends who love to pvp in a space game. Join us in a few months when you get the eve bug back. We can have a laugh and find someone else to shoot. The only thing is you will need to throw the thrashers away. As for the isk…we got loads I’ll sub you a month or two to get you back.

I can concurr these guys are good guys in RL. My main was there for about a month but I didnt have much time to meet the CTA’s so I had to leave. In the end its just a game.
Can’t wait to shoot whomever I find maybe pigzenon again or whomever steps in my path…

I went from a space where it takes a wardec to attack someone or you go criminal to a space where anyone can attack you at anytime without any wardec, but yet I’m the coward because I’m in nullsec… A place you won’t come to…
I have come to highsec to kill your dudes a bunch and you always run away… Why is that?

War decs never have been “fun”.
It’s all about blanket dec’ing the large mega corps and alliances and interdicting them at trade hubs. Wars are centered around structures now so your options are pretty limited unless you feel like being a slave to structure timers that 99% of the time never result in any meaningful interaction between pilots.
That’s your opinion of course but in the past, before CCP turned it into this structure bashing abomination there was a lot of neat and interesting things you could do with wars.
I’m not 100% opposed to this new structure meta, but it’s really too gamey and they don’t have enough of a reason for conflict to be centered around structures. They are disposable hunks of trash that litter space and most often than not give very little ISK for the amount of effort spent being a slave to the timer board.
We’re still here having fun and kicking though.

You’re right about the CSM part. Brisc Rubal was the only one that I felt halfway cared. Now we’re stuck with the same kind of empty and shallow content that Nullsec has.
I don’t think they care as long as they can have their Highsec market Keepstar and can out N+1 to win the timers.

You say it was never fun but I used to really enjoy finding a small group of players to hunt. Run locates on the ones that’d make for good kills and setup traps. Guerrilla warfare.
