When we look around us in space, there are stars that represent actual systems in the constellation, region and universe. What if we could click over into Planetarium Mode and be able to click on those stars?

Undock instead. Otherwise, I just use the star map?
Or at least be able to hover the mouse over a star in space and see its name and maybe even its sec status. It would be cool but unnecessary as MB suggested, we already have the star map.
This might not be that hard to accomplish actually. The stars in the sky are already mapped to the 3d map for the planned route, so that map could be overlaid onto the skybox for other purposes as well.
