Planetary Interaction Manual?

Hi,

Is there somewhere a manual for the UI of PI ?

Something that is up to date with the new changes, and has all the keyboard shortcuts (shift-click multiselect etc)?

I can only find bits and pieces all over the place, and don’t even know if there is this one thing that would make my life easier.

for example, i cannot for the life of me figure out how i set an input route for an assembler without having the material in a storage/launchpad.

CCP, Do you even Document, bro? :stuck_out_tongue:

Maybe this could help.
Lots of good info in there anyway.

The answer is ‘no’ for the past 20 years or so. They expect their players (like Eve Uni) to do it. Totally ridiculous.

You open routes tab. There you must have that material routed there as an input (e.g. extracted raw material incoming to a storage facility). You can select that input and route it as an export to other facilities.

What is this and where does it apply?

Been the bible since the start of PI

I spent hours going all over that site. :ok_hand:

You can set the same recipe on several Processors at the same time.

Does only work if you have an extractor. If you make a factory planet you have only the (empty)launchpad and the processors, and if you want to make a template to later use on planets, you can’t, without putting materials into the launchpad to create routes.

At least i could not find out how.

Unfortunately it doesn’t even mention Templates, so i think it is pretty outdated.

I know how PI used to work, i would like to know the details of how it works today.
