Was the error on your side or did you fell for a scam?
However the demand that someone should buy from a specific sell order tells me that you don’t understand the market much. What you ask is simply not possible. You can’t buy from a specific sell order. Always the lowest order in a system will be the one where the money goes.
And as the others wrote…all interactions on the market are final. Otherwise scams wouldn’t work. You might have a bad day, but this will teach you to better check something before you click the next time. That’s life.
well okay, just don’t do business in items that eat up your whole savings when just buying three of them. I mean, he shouldn’t have bought them for the regular price as well if his wallet is that slim. And IF I am going to buy something that will make me go broke, I’ll goddamn check the price 3 times…
He was buying a glorified unstable MWD mutaplasmid. They’re hideously expensive because they’re very rare and very good. He paid the fair market value, he just didn’t seem to realise that the fair market value of this item is quite high.
@Queotzcatl There is also a pop-up window that comes on when you try to buy something that is uncharacteristically expensive. (If it doesn’t come up then the price is within the norm usually). That pop-up can’t be disabled and you have to manually click ‘okay’ in order to return to buying an item. So, yeah, there are in fact a couple of red alarms in the process there.
Lowest listing in a particular station, not system. It doesn’t discriminate between orders within the same station. Other than that you can pick which order to buy from.
I bought by error two 5MWD unstable Mutaplasmid.
I wanted three, the order bought two for 7.8B and then said me… you got
no more isks… I checked and I had like 37M left in my wallet…
I panicked and put them back on the market immediately.
Today one is offering for 2.7B…
I began selling assets to try to crawl a bit back, but I can’t undo that order…

They are on sale already at a discounted price of more then 200Mil a piece…
I have a bunch of Mutaplasmids in stock, some I have manufactured from BPC found in Abyss,
But I don’t even run T3’s these days, only guys with the reflex to run T6 and such could need
a super-stealthy meta 5MWD with O% Cap loss… like the X-variants…
I just hope some will buy these back and use them wisely as you say.
I wouldn’t be surprised.
