It’s dying as much as it ever has been.
It’s a low population game, always about 30k logged in at any one time, always around 1500 in Jita, always around 1500 in Rookie Help chat.
These numbers don’t change.
If there’s ever 200 logged in and 2 people in Jita and 5 people in Rookie Help chat then we might need to worry, but the population seems to stay stable enough.
Let’s face it, there is a core of people that will never quit that will always keep the game ticking along, and that is probably the best way to describe the state of EVE most years - ticking along.
