Same.
Settings ā Interface ā ( One of the radio buttons, scroll down ) Hide my presenceā¦
Oh I never figured that out even after people brought it up. I think I just went through the tutorial and settings when I joined and forgot about it.
Why would you need to hide your profile?
Nothing personal, but typically the need to hide oneās self is an indication of a troll or someone who intends unscrupulous activities. For example, so many forum alts. This is my main, not my only char (toon), but my main. Why the need for all the cloak and dagger? I donāt fear some forum troll in a game. Come at me in game if what I have to say is contradictory to your narrative.
Donāt take it personally and Iām not being sarcastic. Iām asking a legitimate question on why some feel the need to hide. You are already behind a keyboard, immune to the retribution youād face saying the same thing to someone in rl. I just donāt get it.
Doesnāt seem to make much of a difference. You can just use the search bar to still see all of their posts. You can just not make a bio if you donāt want people to see it.
Cowardice explains a lot.
Exactly.
@Cosmo_Polite whatās the conclusion of your poll ?
Vote early !
wordsalad
That looks delicious. Totally not a wordsalad.
I can only stomach one thread at a time if disagreeing is more than half the fun for some
Iām just an arsehole who likes to try to make other players think. A hard task these daysā¦
I can fly every single sub cap combat ship in the game to its max. My skill points are not what make me good. My experience āpointsā are what make me good. Something that cannot be measured in this game.
Canāt seem to get that through to new players, hench they die, complain, etc. Mehā¦
At least I did get my moneyās worth out of the game!
You canāt help those who donāt want to be helped.
You canāt fix stupid. Even worse are the smart players who are too just lazy.
Just because you hang around EVE with your thumb up your ass for ten years doesnāt make you a better player than a month old focused character who dedicates himself to your destruction next time you are dumb enough to be caught out in the open.
Time in game means about as much as the amount of SP you buy.
Mr Epeen
The most valuable time in the game is the time spent in dock going through potential fittings and seeing what works and why it works.
Have you been drinking again?
You know as well as I that an experienced player can punch way above their weight limit.
Edit; Maybe you donāt?
