Again, it happened again. The UI didnt register my stop and approach the Abyss Gate, I wanted to wait utlii my Drones would return safely in my dock, but the UI Malfunctioned!
It registered probably the first click to jump but not the other three/four later clicks to just approach and circle the gate.
Because WE STILL DON’T HAVE BACK THE COMMON feature or OPTIONAL UI setting.
PREVENT SHIP FROM JUMPING IF DRONES OR PROBES ARE OUT / ON or OFF…
I lost two expansive MUTADRONES… AGAIN…
So I will ask refund again… The UI didn’t clearly work, and the PREVENT WARP function, regarless it it-s in Abyss space or Null Sec or High Sec… IT SHOULD BE OUR CHOICE TO MAKE!!!
There is the GREEN SAFETY BUTTON…. WHY THE GREEN SAFETY BUTTON YES AND THE DRONE RECALL WARP PREVENTION NOT???

FOR the gods SAKE, CCP, Move your FINGERS!!! Put the DRONES WARP SAFETY setting back into the UI!!!
The Problem is that CCP TOOK AWAY the DRONES OUT / JUMP / WARP prevention UI setting…
And This is the second time in the last two moths that I have lost super-expansive Mutadrones because of that…. Faith Wanted that in both occasions it was the Last Jump out of the Abyss, so
didn’t have to DIE because my ONLY two Drones remaining just slipped in the netherland…
If you want to risk your ship being destroyed over some drones I agree it should be your choice.
I also think it’s an attention issue. Are you in such a rush to leave? If you had literal seconds to spar, I’d think you’d rather lose just the drones than everything. If not, slow down and make sure your drones are in the bay.
No rush, I’m getting old, and slow, shift+space should be easy but to me it’s not…
So I rely more on the UI… and even there, pointing the cursor, clicking, and maybe I made the error of click jump instead of Approach, but was still 8km away… that is how slow I am…. I tried to click approach but something went wrong…
Most of them have grip buttons and extra trigger things, as well as the mandatory Track Pad (try EvE without a mouse, i dare you :p)
You can assign multiple functions to a single button, for example, I have shift+click assigned to a single button on my steam deck.
It can be handy for the older ones of us, for whom the keyboard keys are simply too far apart for our arthritic hands to manage, especially with the colder weather coming in (northern hemisphere).
