To update from my other post for anybody that may care, Proceed with this dangerous act? . I got the same mission and decided to see what would happen… for science. Well, nothing. You cant damage the structure. I shot with my 200mm railguns and used my drone squad, but nothing.

Yeah, mission / exploration sites have both destructible and indestructible structures in them… Some of the destructible structures will drop loot, mostly Trade Goods and or Munitions…
