Proposal - Crime is not realistically punished

No, I rationally figured if you went out of your way to pick a fight, getting one would make you happy.

Since you consider my response to be “emotional damage” and are inconsiderate of it, it betrays your true feelings: you don’t actually care about emotional damage, which as we recall here is your purported motivation for being here in the first place.

Please keep responding, I like exposing two-faced liars. You don’t actually care about “balancing emotional damage in high sec” or whatever the next reason you make up.

Sure, but Concord is a corrupt organisation. They accept bribes to allow you to hunt and murder people (Wardecs), why would they care about doing anything more than the bare minimum to “punish” people?

Koval,

I didn’t go out of my way to irrationally pick a fight with you dude, I don’t even know who you are.

I posted what I posted in that other thread, because that’s what I felt like posting based on what I read in your post and what I wanted to say about it.

If you took it personally on this level, I mean damn man. Thats some serious inner turmoil you got there.

Also, No I don;t care about anyones emotional “Damage”.

However I do care about “Balance of such” and Equality of Damage, and Consequence.

As I told Nyx,

If the Ganker gets to keep the Loot, Then the Victim should be able to get Justice by knowign the Criminal has been sufficiently punished for the action in such a manner as to effect their game play, just like the Victims game play has been effected.

See?

Fair.

@Nyx,

You are correct,

I don’t have an answer other then perhaps they realized that their profit margins are being cut and reduced from different regions because of the harassment, OR Perhaps the Empires themselves are taking a harder stance on crime in Empire space and demanding Concord up their responses and policies.

Lore wise this would make perfect sense with the last several expansions and what’s going on between the Empires.

:thinking:

I don’t believe you.

2 pings in the same post. You don’t have to reply to me AND ping me. Plus a 3rd bonus callout.

Sure does seem like fighting words to me.

Also, I have a message from you in the past, for you in the present:

I took you up on the challenge, and now you’re whining about it, and having to pretend I’m crying or raging for earnestly treating you as demanded of me.

Koval,

Wait… You can’t be serious… Are you kidding me?

You got but hurt over some Forum error where I linked your name after typing it and just didn’t bother to go back and delete the extra O Koval part it left?

Seriously?

Jesus bro. Talk about the troll of the century and it wasn’t even intentional…

And I stand by that comment, You really don’t have any clue how an economy functions. It wasn;t fighting words, or meant to troll you.

I was literally stating a fact.

And I’m just “seeing where it gets me”, so what’s the big deal? Can’t handle the actual criticisms of your ideas I’ve levied?

Lord I hope that’s not true. I pity the poor self respecting goon corp that lets someone spurge out on the forums about how emotionally devastating a hi sec loss is. Please post that in the old helldump and see how fast you get dumped on. Get out of here.

:rofl: I wonder what happened to the other goon guy that spent 100+ posts on these forums against gankers because they bought the “ganker victim upset at their loss so pretending self-harm” in local chat hook line and sinker. Sure don’t see them anymore.

They have an entire category for it on https://goonfleet.com. It’s called Ask a Director :rofl:

Apparently that statement is also a “Fact”…

But I admit when I made it, I was expecting more of a legitimate intelligent argument from you in defense of why you think ganking is good for the economy… Not for you to come over here and try to troll my proposal.

Was it a bit antagonistic, sure.

@Wes_Wyhunnan

You seem to be missing the larger picture here if that is your view point on the matter.

You never got the answer because you never asked this question. For all your mental acuity you do levy an unfair amount of criticism upon my inability to read your mind. Perhaps if you spoke plainly, without being antagonistic, and not out-of-the-blue rage-pinging me, you would have stated the questions you were seeking answers for, instead of preaching.

Instead you railed about… well I’ll just share your words again, I can’t make this up:

@ Nyx,

I thought you were asking my opinion, not Goon Doctrine. If I wanted to tow the Goon line, I’d be Posting on my Main.

In that instance, I was meeting on my last alliance.

Slight side note, just in case you don’t know :slight_smile: You don’t have to write @ name in your messages. When you reply to a message in Discourse that isn’t the last message it generates a UI element that links the message so everyone knows who and what post you are replying to.

@Io_Koval

Fair enough Koval, I do get carried away sometimes.

But I’m old and Remember previous incidents when people espoused that kind of thought process about ganking in highsec.

In response, CCP did actually loosen the restriction at one point as kind of a trial, it went horribly and they lost over 50,000 players (in a game where it now says on average 29,000 online, it used to say 130,000 online). in a matter of months. (Granted it was more like 70,000 online after, the recent low 29,000 is even more concerning but that probably is due to the industry ore changes, effects the same people though).

They still haven’t recovered from it, and that decision of that Era of EvE, almost literally killed the game.

Back then, you had tripple to quadruple the people in highsec doing industry, you could buy a Typhhon, Raven, Abadon whatever for 80 to 100 million isk. Instead of several 380 million. If you had a few Billion ISK, you were rich. Now a Few Billion wont even buy you a T1 Freighter. (Which used to be about 250 million).

When you lose Production, Prices go up. And the people Produceing, are Non-PvP Carebears generally. When they leave the game because they keep getting ganked and can’t mine/build etc in “Reletive” peace. All of EvE suffers. Especially the Economy.

Prices also went up because CCP changed the materials required and the complexity of gaining those materials.

I edited the reply and added that Nyx. lol actually right before you posted :stuck_out_tongue:

I heard you the first time. We fundamentally disagree, strongly.

I have a few different friends sitting on multiple T2 BPOs not coming back to the game because high sec is too safe. What’s the point of producing for ISK if the fun piracy is gone.

People like you are ensuring they never come back. If they did, production would actually increase. Funny that.

Win some lose some :parrot:
