PSA, make your killrights available for a small fee if you got suicide ganked

This leads too wonky BR like this one Battle Report Tool

Don’t make them available for free, as it’s too easy to get rid of them, but make sure people will make money killing the targets. I.e. a Catalyst char killright should not cost more than 2 millions IMHO.

That particular “BR” was the result of free killrights, cheap killrights, and the suicide ganker uneven number of chromosome.

So you want free padding for your zkill stats?

LaME.

There would be more efficient ways to pad killboards than spending more time bumping than shooting.

The bigger point is that most people that don’t suicide gank want ganking happening less, and as I think I proved, affordable killrights are a way to put a significant dent in the gankers profit.

Not even by little, what you fail to recognize is that ganking is NOT fault of the ganker.

100% of all fault lays between chair and keyboard of the owner of the ship that went kaboom.

I learned that lession, so I do not get ganked anymore.

I can take 100bil and move it from Jita 44 to Perimeter, all day long- without a miligram of risk involved.

I also can move large skill injectors from wherevr to wherever, no risk for me, zero.

THEN AGAIN, I literally on a daily basis blow up someone carrying 0,5+bil in a shuttle.

and that is somehow MY fault…

You realize, this describes the entirety of nullsec?

:innocent:

This is correct. A successful gank is the end result of multiple mistakes or bad decisions by the person who lost their ship. If the gazelle is not paying attention, do you blame the lion for eating it?

Dunno why you rant about that in that thread. My point is : if you ■■■■■■ up and got ganked, make the killrights available so if the ganker fucks up you can get back a little bit of money and some satisfaction.

As I found out, some gankers are just as bad at the game as their victims.

Only some?

You overestimate them. They only get content when someone else fails.

This is a really short-sided statement. I’d say that almost all content that results in a ship loss is just a race to see who messes up first or most.

Honestly, if you’re honest you’d agree that ganking is on par with most other forms of PvP.

And if you wanted to follow that ridiculous train of thought, then why even undock? You made the first mistake before you ever clicked that button.

I’m just stating a fact. I don’t blame the crocodile for sitting in the river waiting for dinner to stop to drink, but I don’t call it a magnificent hunter for doing so.

It’s simple.. Eve is competitive in nature. The goal is to have fun and probably for most people succeed in what their chosen activity is. The key to doing well is to master the mechanics and knowledge within the aspect of gameplay you are participating in and to minimize mistakes.

Not quite sure where just not undocking is the best option.

My apologies. I was mistaken in my assumption that you could follow basic reasoning.

I’ll go ahead and block you now. Good day and good riddance.

What’s that? A crybaby incapable of having a civilized discussion where differences of opinion occur?

All I simply did was state my opinion based on your response here:

I think it’s hypocritical to single out gankers as if they are the only players with a playstyle that results in content when someone else fails. Just a bad argument or position to take.
