EVE is more PVE than PVP game.
There are ‘strictly PvP’ games that pit two teams of players against eachother.
EVE is not like that.
EVE instead uses an open universe full of PvE opportunities as the driver for conflict, as opportunities for PvP to happen naturally in an open univers, instead of forced in some session-based team setting.
This means EVE isn’t a strictly-PvP game, but it’s not a PvE game either.
Both PvP and PvE work together in EVE as a symbiosis. A symbiosis that keeps PvE unpredictable and valuable and also creates a universe in which players can go anywhere to fight other players for fun or over the most valuable PvE opportunities.
EVE is a game that builds on both PvP and PvE. Any request to only have one or the other is to ask for an incomplete broken game.
Why not find a different game if EVE does not offer the experiece you look for?

It does, many of them.
There’s several for FW alone, one for each faction.
What are they called?
Join Faction Warfare, find out.
IIRC, it’s called Militia, but it’s been a few years since I was in FW.
If its a pvp game you shouldnt have to join fw to find the pvp channel

Is it because most people only PVP in EVE?
If you want only PvE in a PvP game, the problem is you, not the game.

Right…i know first hand that there are quite some multiboxers into a hobby to take down player structures with their fleets. You tell now this it not PVP - fine. Now we know that. Please then tell also all the others that multiboxers do not do PVP and taking down a station/pos/customs office/… is now defined as PVE.
Because those not in the know want to have a PVE server where their station cannot be PVPed, while it in fact is PVE when it goes down as per your definition as forum authority. Those whiners really have it all wrong.
EDIT: i also forgot to add a paragraph about ganking. Ganking executed by a multiboxer is as of now also officially PVE. So everyone should be happy here!
