I’ve just started playing around with PYFA and after connecting it to Eve, loading my current Coercer fit and my current skills, I note there are differences between what PYFA shows vs what the Fitting Tool shows. Of particular concern is Cap stability. According to PYFA I am Cap Stable however, according to Eve I’m out of cap in six minutes.
Any idea why this is so?
Answering my own question:
You need to tell PYFA that you want to use the loaded characters skill set by selecting it from the small window shown at the top right of the main panel. PYFA and the Fitting Tool now match.
3rd party utils may not have the exact rounding values the game uses.

Thanks. I’ve found PYFA did help me understand what was going on. It turned out to be the afterburner draining my Cap. As long as I only use afterburner in short bursts I won’t drain too much Cap. I’m pretty much stuck with the situation since as an Alpha pilot I cannot train the skills needed to reduce afterburner Cap use.
