I bought an Orca that had 3 hyperspacial Velocity Optimizers on it. I traded one out for a Higgs Anchor allowing me to align and only move away at a snails pace. Am I correct in assuming I don’t need the other 2 HVO’s?
HVOs increase speed actually in warp; that is, you cover more distance per time while your warp drive is active. Anchors effectively decrease your align time (and actually decrease warp speed as a drawback).
So… they change very different stats. You could argue that the Higgs makes Polycarbon Engine Housings or Low Friction Nozzle Joints redundant but not HVOs.
