For someone who doesn’t believe, you seem adamant to disprove something that can neither be proved nor disproved.
I didn’t say it didn’t change size, or didn’t mean to imply that if I did. What I said earlier was:

Regarding the statement of 20 minutes, that is an estimate based on a memory from 30 years ago. I didn’t have a stopwatch. I didn’t have a camera. I didn’t make measurements or keep notes. So I should say, “as I recall, it felt like 20-30 minutes.” It could have been 15. It could have been 25.
Here’s how I’ll wrap this up, and then I’m done talking about it:
My account is a memory from when I was in my prime, objectively intelligent, with sharp eyes, sharp mental faculties, and a highly skeptical nature. I had a science education and was working in a technical field. I had military training and experience observing aircraft under a wide range of light and weather conditions. At the time of this incident, I had ample time to observe and analyze what I was seeing. What I determined from my lengthy observation was that I was seeing something genuinely strange: a large, three-dimensional, non-luminous, stationary, spherical object hovering at a distance, somewhere between my vehicle and a range of mountainous terrain, most likely at or near the ridgeline, based on the way the light hit the object and that reflection changed and was occluded as the sun sank behind the hills.
I would also note again that I was not the only witness to the phenomenon. The object was discerned by others as well, and deemed unusual enough to prompt a carload of people to pull over, get out, and stand there looking at it.
What exactly the object was, I cannot say and will not speculate. But in my estimation as a reasonably informed observer, it was not a natural phenomenon nor any publicly disclosed manmade aircraft.
Now, I cannot prove this account. I have no evidence other than my own eye-witness testimony. Further, I recounted it as a curiosity, in what was supposed to be a fun little forum thread, not as a thesis to exhaustively defend.
If you want to believe my account, that’s fine. If you don’t, that’s fine too. If your worldview depends upon my account being mistaken, then choose whichever mundane explanation makes you most comfortable and live content with that.

It’s imminent . My theory is that AI bots/Physical AI will be the first not Humans. AI bots/Physical AI can be sent anywhere in outer space.
I too have seen something unusual and the closest mundane explanation to it would be a reentry and burn event. I might be misremembering whether it was a perfect cross or not, how sharp the lights were and many other details of something 40+ years ago -and whose memory I’ve accessed and recounted many times.
The only factual evidence is the overall bearings of the moving lights in the sky and an acceptable estimate of the duration of the event.
And that people have been seeing freaky stuff in the sky since forever and they put a cultural bias on it. From fairies to interstellar alien vehicles.
Also people have been faking freaky stuff in the sky for all kinds of reasons why people lie.
And people also have been misidentifying stuff since forever.
So no, probably there’s nothing to believe in.

The only inminent thing is finding out that Starship is a piece of trash, SpaceX is worthless and the Musk is the largest fraudster in history.
There is no fast and dirty road to Mars, and no amount of burning taxpayer money into private profits is going to change that. SpaceX is on its way to burn 5.3 billion of taxpayer money to build a human rated lunar lander out of a rocket that hasn’t made it to orbit not even empty -and never survived reentry not even from from that lowest speed. The fact is that the US Government is neglecting scrutiny and accountability for SpaceX’s blatant mismanagement of public funds. Funds that were awarded through a blatant act of corruption, once again through neglect of the Government’s duty to scrutinise and account what is done with taxpayer money.
Funnily enough, wouldn’t you believe it, both things happened and are happening under the administration of the same POTUS, who seems to have a blind spot for sycophants, cronies, fraudsters and billionaires who rub his ego right.

You do realize ships blowing up is part of the “what works, what doesn’t” process, right? You know, let’s find all the things that can go wrong and fix/change them before we put humans into one? At least Musk hasn’t killed seven astronauts because he couldn’t be bothered to listen to an engineer telling him a seal was faulty and then covered it up afterwards until it got dragged out years later like good old NASA.
I guess Mars will be owned by china soon.
Rockets blowing up is not your job unless you’re a fireworks company.
Can you imagine if NASA lost the same rocket 11 out of 11 times in a row, with only minor iterations to show for and little actual progress in the task of putting stuff in a orbit? Because guess what, SpaceX is doing exactly that WITH NASA MONEY but no accountability so far.
Nevermind that they got NASA money to build a human lander, not a version of the rocket allegedly necessary for that lander (and then fail).
Whatever SpaceX is doing, it’s not proper testing. They’re literally burning taxpayer money with nothing to show for it.

“Aliens” and “Extra-Terrestrials” are not the same thing. For example the dolphins in our seas are totally alien to us, but extra-terrestrials look similar to us in humanoid forms.

Your question is not worded correctly. No one need “believe” in UFOs to know they exist. The acronym stands for Unidentified Flying Object. By definition anything yet to be identified is called a bogey or a UFO. The bogey is an old term as they called them gremlins before that. World War II used the term Foo Fighters.
Asking me if I believe in something I cannot identify, is kind of absurd. While in the same breath you use ET which stands for extraterrestrial life, or alien life. It does not denote intelligence. We must assume there is life beyond Earth, a meteorite was discovered decades ago with fossilized microbes. Providing proof life develops outside Earth. We just don’t know about intelligent life beyond Earth.

I think the question you are asking here is; Do you think intelligent life exists beyond Earth, if yes, have they visited the Earth?
A: I assume they exist. The age of the universe is somewhere around 13 billion years now? It is easy to say but difficult to comprehend. The “Cosmic Calendar” compresses the 13 billion years down into 1 year.
The last month of December is where all the action happens here. The end of the first week the vertibrates and plants arrive, and two weeks fish and bugs are present. The dinosaurs rule 23, 24th, and 25th – there goes Christmas! The simple mammals ( like rats ) arrive on the 26th, birds on the 27th, and flowers on the 28th. Very bad news on the 30th as an extinction level event wipes out the dinosaurs – Good bye Barney! The modern humans walk the planet on the last minute of the year and civilization started 20 seconds ago.
Knowing what happened here are we to assume that we are the only intelligent life to exist in that time? This brings us to a simple conclusion there are many other worlds that had civilizations rise and fall in seconds or minutes. Other worlds just starting to develop agriculture. Maybe some that survived self annihilation and are far in advance of our own.
Do I believe alien intelligence has visited Earth?
A: No. I seriously doubt it. Unless they have some method to travel beyond, what we currently understand to be an absurdity. Science has shown the math of light speed travel will never be obtainable due to several mechanical factors. Warp and wormholes are works of fiction, not based in factual science. If a wormhole did exist, it would kill you to traverse it. You may as well be talking about the multiverse and other pseudo science.
Let’s assume, something immortal hatched on one of those planets. It gain intelligence in February on the Cosmic Calendar and headed into the void of space at less than the speed of light. A vast armada of colony ships exploring space, life, and civilization. If one ship found Earth, we would appear like fruit flies to them. They would not need to invade Earth, as they could just wait for us to expire.

Its a paradox, but the only model about reality that explains EVERY THING at ultimate level is the one that claims our reality is not the end world.

I’ll quibble with this a bit, in that both warp drives and wormholes are not exactly fiction (meaning, wholly without basis in reality). We do have theoretical models for these things, even if no one has built a warp drive or observed a wormhole in nature. There is math, and the math makes sense (sometimes, usually).
The Alcubierre drive was proposed in 1994, and physicists have been playing with the math since then, trying to work around the mass-energy problems. Is it a dead end? Who knows.
No one’s ever seen one, but we’ve got a pretty decent idea that wormholes may exist. Depending on the model, some may be traversable, some may only pass information. Again, who knows?
But whenever I look at these things, I always keep in mind the existence of black holes. Just within my lifetime (and I ain’t that old), black holes went from something purely theoretical to something we’ve actually photographed.
In 1975, if you said you had a picture of a black hole, it would be like saying you had a picture of a unicorn. Today, we take these things for granted.
