No…I don’t gank with Altara. In fact Altara doesn’t have any Catalysts at alll. But other chars do…and a large stash of clone tags.

Sure…I have several accounts that can gank. I had to give up ganking with alphas but my omegas can handle it now. Most of my non-AO chars live in Dodixie.

No, the player base would not be lost. When Eve Online first started, ganking wasnt a thing. Merc Corps were able to war anyone who had or was in a corporation.
But after most of those who were war decced would simply dock up and the Mercs werent able to get the ISK back that was put into the war dec because the players were smarter than the Mercs, most Mercs changed tactics to flying cheap ships using a lot of alts that no one knew who the owner of the alts were.
Then something happened that made all of the alt gankers leave, all that is left now are the named gankers and once they leave, Eve Online will be no different than it was when the game first started, minus all of the new stuff that had been added.
The gankers have nearly zero influence on the game compared to ships lost in the Abyss, belts, missions, combat anoms, which are mostly NPC death related.
Some people play EVE as they wish they were in RL.

Ah, this is the two pronged, speaking with forked tongue, method of anti-gank whining. One segment whines that ganking is massively ruining the game and ‘think of the poor noobs’…while the other segment argues that ganking has so little impact that nobody would miss it. Of course…they can’t both be true.
