Gankers are Not Polite or Patient with Miners

There are times when gankers are indignant when n the way they treat fellow miners.

I’m seeing that they’ve also actually rather belligerent towards miners and our operations in highsec.

Which makes feel antagonistic towards their leader.

Without singling out and pointing the blame game here but having gankers rule highsec has made mining not fun.

It’s time to change the way Concord reacts by lowering the response times.

When is the last time you paid a bil isk to aiko? Maybe its you who misinterpreted her words and actions. What say you @Uriel_the_Flame

Hi, Chad Frostpacker.

How is CONCORD supposed to make gankers more polite, less antagonistic and more patient with miners?
CONCORD doesn’t have any negotiators that gankers can bargain with nor is it a spokesperson - or spokesNPC - for miners.
Another question to consider is why should gankers be polite or patient with miners? Do you realize the precarious situation miners are in while mining in high sec?

Ah yes…politeness. Ya know, of all the times I’ve donated to ganked miners, paid for their mining permits, donated to a new ship, etc, I’ve never once received a single ‘thanks’. Aiko thanks me when I donate to Safety.

Gankers are using their blasters when interacting with miners which is offensive and a none polite way to mingle!

Instead gankers could use their blasters on belt rats to help protect miners which would then show patience towards fellow pilots in n highsec.

So by changing the response time helps lower the frequency of poor interaction between the ganker and the miner as we know that gankers can never be polite or patient with miners.

Calm down Uriel

Can’t hear you through your wordsalad. :smirk:

Greetings, Chad. I hope you had a Merry Christmas.

I am convinced that the miners could have a better relationship with the gankers if they washed their mining ships more than once in a while. I mean, who wants to gank a dirty ship? It doesn’t look good on zKillboard.
Also, I don’t see why the gankers couldn’t make an effort to help out by blowing up rats and cleaning around the belts. It’s always the same people who have to pick up after everybody. If we’re supposed to be a community then everybody has to help keep asteroid fields clean. We should have alternate cleaning weeks between miners and gankers.
Finally, the marketeers should have one month out of the year of discount where everything is half price on the market. Everyone is supposed to do their part. Gankers kill, Miners mine and sellers have sales.
New Eden should have a consumer association to curb accesses in the market otherwise we will never see the end of this hyperinflation.

Oh look folks strong text we should not single out their ganker head of the snake.

Ore dust from mining deposits onto the surface of our barges and deep cleaning happens at least once a week.

Miners destroyed by belt rats are effectively being ganked by CCP. The belt rats don’t even issue a ‘good fight’ afterwards.

Once a week is the bare minimum. It’s good but won’t get you a medal. The really dedicated miners clean their tools everytime they have a chance to, usually at dock.
A clean ship is the tool of a proud miner and a proud miner can work longer and harder for the good of the empire.

That’s called ship replacement.

Perhaps more gankers should take note of how polite they could become by donating a new ship replacement to the miner.

Cause we all know that Gankers gank for fun just like how miners mine for fun.

I think not, Chad. It’s called dedication and hard work. Everyone is supposed to take care of their stuff before wanting any more. That’s what I tell my son anyway. “How can you expect to have more toys when you don’t even take care of the ones you already have?”
A day later his room is spot clean. :slightly_smiling_face:

This is exactly why there needs to be a shorter response time from Concord as some events just happen to out of the hands of miners when it comes to losing a ship.

@Chad_Frostpacker I understand how you feel but, Chad, you can’t count on CONCORD. They are unshaved overweight doughnut eaters who can barely lift themselves out of a chair, that’s why they always come late to an emergency.
Out there in space, no one can hear you scream.

How many times this happens would point out that the miner was distracted by always needing to watch local or another screen and not the miner barge extracting ore at the time.

Miner needs to learn to put on tactical display and zoom out. Looking at the pretty asteroid, or episode 2756 of Aussie Gold Hunters, is what gets you ganked.

Well at least you had shown politeness here with your interaction!

Mind meld later perhaps?
