Yes, you can fight Edencom ships if you want to fight for trigs. Main difference is, in most of high sec, npc’s does not allow for remote reps by players. However, in the invasion systems, opposing players, if they’re around, are allowed to remote rep the npc’s making the content a bit more challenging.
