Im play this game solo for 4 month, and only loose everivhere
When im play quests with nps from sisters, other guy attack me when i fight with npc, but when i attack it, concord kill me… nice cheat?
Also thiis unplayable, when group of peoples attack me with 20 peoples when im solo…
I waste here so much for 4 month of game, but balance suck…
Now im understand, why peoples leaving from this game

Peoples trying kill expencive ships, to get pay his monthly subscription…. But when we pay in game ccp didnt think about us  so ccp, enjoy ftp peoples in your server … sure and vs 500$ That im paid… next pait will be zerro

My brain hurts from parsing this string.

You getting killed is just the game trying to help you get good. Accept the help.

How did he attack you? He did not get CONCORDed so he either tricked you into thinking he was shooting you while actually he did not or he became suspect and you shot him then he came back later and you shot him after the timers expired (you had a mobile depot in your cargo hold maybe he shot it or just stolen from your wrecks, though I don’t think he wouldn’t kill you if you gave him the chance so this seems less likely).

The first case is easy to avoid in hisec just keep your safeties on green.

The second can also be avoided, don’t shoot suspects in hisec. (Not sure exactly how the arc weapons function but last time I heard about them they were only shooting things according to your safety settings so again keep safety on green if you are in hisec. If that is not the case then be wary of suspect baiters and choose your combat actions wisely.)

Without further details it is kind of difficult to know what exactly happened but you probably got baited one way or another, didn’t set your weapon safety properly and fall for a bait. Learn from it and carry on.

He seems genuine at least when it comes to losing stuff left and right. Just check his KB.

How is balance bad when 20 people attack you and you lose? What kind of balance would it be if 20 people couldn’t beat 1?

Nullsec is free for all territory so if you play solo there especially in an expensive ship you will be destroyed. Know the risks and hazards of the space you fly in and play accordingly and adapt if needed by joining a corp or choosing a different space to fly in or both or whatever else works, could even fly cheaper ships for example but it really depends on you. But flying solo in an open war zone is not going to end up well if you are not prepared.

This is not World of Warcraft or other such, there is no opt-out (nor opt-in) for PvP, here PvP is always on.

My advice is to join a corp that teaches you how to fly better and maybe also in a fleet with them to protect eachother or fly cheaper ships into wormholes or whatever but based on your killboard you lose ships, expensive ships as well all the time so you either change your methods or quit because how you play right now is not sustainable.

Learn from your mistakes (and adapt) and carry on (or quit).

But blaming others for your own mistakes will not help you.

Good luck and fly safe o/

I’ll bite, because your zkill goes back as long as you say it does. Through all of this, and by reeading your killboard, I can provide you these two bits of advice:

1: This game is not meant to be played solo. Yes you can do so, but it’s a MMO, and one of the Ms stands for multiplayer.
2: This is not a pay to win game. You lost your Golems and Thunderchilds because you bought the SP and ISK to sit in ships you have no clue how to fly and took them into places you had no business taking them in the first place. Your wallet will not help, it will only hurt you in this game if you don’t know how to use the skills/ships you’re buying.

Now, this is all the feeding you’re getting from me. I’ll close this with saying congratulations. You’re a perfect example of the problem with SP trading.

Probably works as intended.

Yeah only just noticing this.

My account is 12 years old and I am only just, albeit tentatively, slipping into a Golem.

How much have you spent??

You can’t possibly have all the skills required for this maxxed unless you have indeed paid large to win.

It’s not just SP you need, you also need the experience of playing the game, or you’re doing the equivalent of a teenager jumping into a lambo without first learning to drive

Indeed without the player skills (not to be confused with character skills) others can outplay / outsmart or outnumber (or both) you even if you buy some overpowered ship (this is not World of Tanks or Warships or whatever, there is no golden ammo and whatnot here to make you overpowered) and sometimes even if you have the experience they still can do both if are more experienced / smarter or more numerous (or both).

You have to learn the game first and preferably in cheaper ships, going on a journey fulfilling the learning curve, otherwise you set up yourself to failure (just as it happened so far).

Next time, either go into 1.0 security systems or all the way in the opposite direction to null security systems, the low sec systems are arguably the most unpredictable, and that’s what makes them more dangerous.

The “balance” in Apanake is one of too much traffic contrasted with too little security; you’re mostly safe at gates and outside stations but go off piste and you’re basically naked.

In a high sec system, CONCORD will often get there before you pop (unless you Han Solo and they pop you) and in Null you can find systems that are dead, so you know as soon as Local +1’s that you need to be on your guard.

YouTube was made exactly for this sort of thing. Go watch people play, learn stuff, and get better.

You don’t have to be good at PVP to stay safe (I’m garbage at PVP, but I can keep my losses low with common sense and learning)

That’s a fitting comparison.

EVE is a balanced game.

What I see is that you got outplayed.

You attacked a Nergal who was clearly suspect baiting you in high sec. They could not attack you without getting shot by CONCORD, but because you attacked them they were allowed to shoot back. And kill you.

You made this mistake not once, but twice. Would the first time not have been enough reason for you to learn how they attacked you so you can avoid that mistake in the future?

Apparently not.

For now the easiest way to avoid such losses is to keep your safety settings to green and stay in high sec while you learn more about the game. That way only suicide ganks can get you.

(Given the value of the ships you fly for a 4 month old character, I would not be surprised to see the next ship suicide ganked for profit though. Maybe fly cheaper ships too?)

What is odd is based on the lossmail and also OP’s description (which I also added together in my earlier reply) it seems OP got concorded not just simply killed by the baiter, so both the limited engagement timer and also the suspect timer had to expire by the time he shot him (or shot him again).

A well timed (about to expire) suspect timer and warping off then back after both timers expired could explain the situation but still it is not as straightforward as just simply getting suspect baited.

Sry for my school english.
To be more clear - this guy called his friend with Orca to heal him, when i attack orca, Concord come and kill me.
So what is my concern -
1.Im liked this game, but its not playable.
2. Why only is harcore available? where is ONLY pve mode ?
3. What aim wanted, its only have fun in pve, im not harcore player, but im loosing so much while playing.
4. Also im liked fly in good ships.
5. Im cannot be in Corporations, because im want play game by my rules.
… Peoples silently leaving from this game, but im want to reach to them who able fix this issue…

What im looking, its pve mode.

PVE-only does not exist in EVE and never has. Sounds like X4, No Man’s Sky, or Elite Dangerous may be more suitable for you.

Thanks bro for the info…
Hopoe peoples will enjoy this game when online will drop to 5000
max is 30k online, as minimum 10k of them is alt accounts…
so here is no real peoples, and who is coming - leaving after some good pvp

EVE is a niche game. Always has been. And it is now one of the longest-running MMO’s in gaming history. So, after 21 years, I don’t think EVE is going away anytime soon.
