This guy’s script broke, but like it’s very risky cause there are many players, and you barely get anything from HS anyway, what’s the deal? Why is he compromising his acc for this? xD
Might wanna increase the vid’s speed to 2x or more.

Because it means lots of money.
Exploration bots are also rampant in EVE. I keep reporting almost every single Heron I see in my area and I regularly get Bot Banned Mails from CCP.
He’s in a Cerberus though… The combat sites don’t pay much in HS?
All i can see there, is a ship undocking and dockup again ??
Yeah, for hours
Escalations farming can be lucrative. Combat missions also work if blitzed.
we only see about 5 min and the rest is , “trust me bro, i said it”
sorry, but i dont trust anyone who say anybody is a botter ! you cant prove it, and the only thing you can do is report them ! if they are gone, then youre right otherwise youre wrong ….
and no, only because you reportet him today does not mean hes gone tomorrow !
If you suspect someone is botting, just report it. Many players assume there should be an immediate response. Most likely they will keep a watchdog on him and record their own proof. Even games using EAC take time for logs to be read and proof compiled.
Some players just don’t care. They are here today and gone tomorrow. Even when they spend cash on the account, they could be using this game to develop something they plan to sell to others for profit. Best to report it and move on.
Have fun!
All I see is a guy undocking and docking up, several times. There’s zero proof here of botting. He could be testing something. He could be looking outside the station to see who’s there. What’s more, if a botting script ‘failed’, surely the ‘redock’ bit would fail too.
hole on, let me put my glasses on
so i dont know anything about bots, but i am posting on the behalf of “what if”
I, too, dock and undock to admire my ship. You’re on potato mode, that does not mean they are.
Hmm, i did more than just increase the speed of that video…….i just turned it off only after a few seconds of watching it. Theres no proof here about anything going on. I mean how long did it take to just discover that one ship thats docking/undocking is a bot.
The only proof i see is the op’s computer in dire need of an upgrade.
Plausible deniability.
From the Video you can clearly identify a pattern (Script or Bot):
| TimeStamp | Action | Time Difference |
|---|---|---|
| 0:15 | Cerberus Undocks from Station | No prior record. |
| 0:33 | Cerberus docks at Station | 18 Sec (aproximately). |
| 0:51 | Cerberus Undocks from Station | 18 Sec (aproximately). |
| 1:08 | Cerberus docks at Station | 18 Sec (aproximately). |
| 1:25 | Cerberus Undocks from Station | 18 Sec (aproximately). |
| 1:43 | Cerberus docks at Station | 18 Sec (aproximately). |
There is a fixed limit to how often you can Dock/Undock from station (around 10sec + Entry/Exit Animation) so the 18sec has a little extra buffer to accommodate for animations/delays. If that is not an indication of a Script or Program I don’t know what is.
There are varying reasons why people does Scripting or use Bot programs, most commonly RMT. If enough time passes between getting caught, any revenue they gained out ways the annoyance of having to setup it all over on new account.
CCP can do little to effectively prevent such people to just make new accounts:
A long long time ago, I used to hunt bots in highsec. Back then, I’ve had a thread that listed several dozens of them with detailed descriptions of their behavioral patterns, which I then used to both hunt them in the game and report them to CCP.
What I’ve learned from replies in my thread back then is that there are always people that say exactly what you’ve said. It turned out that most of them fall into one of two categories:
And yes, any player can detect bots. We are humans. We are wired to recognize patterns. If something is acting following an unusual (non-human) pattern, it’s a bot…. with 99% certainty. Gaslighting others that they can’t detect a bot simply does not work.
Good work. Report any suspected bots you can find. The game is better without them. Note that the ban will not come immediately, because CCP wants to capture the behavior and run it through their bot hunting tool to detect more of them using the same script. But the bans usually come after a while.
Regarding compromising the account - most botters do not play the game and do not gather ISK to fund their game play. Most botters are using scripts to extract in-game currency in order to sell it, regardless of what the game is. People behind such operations might not even know what EVE Online is.
to stand with my own statement → its only your words and without spending my own time ( maybe a lot ) to find your forum thread, you have no proves. and still without the knowledge about your thread i dont think youre correct ! maybe you found a few bots, i cant deny it because i got no fakts, but i´m not the one who have to prove his statement ![]()
no you cant, just by a simple fakt → you cant have the informations CCP can see !
you just “believe” it ! → in germany we call this “ bauchi bauchi and fühli fühli “ ![]()
btw … you have no clue how stupid ppl can act from your point of view …
and as we see in this YT video is just a dude who undock and dock backup again but we dont know the reason !
We don’t need to know the reason the pattern speaks for itself. I might add that this script/bot, when it breaks like that, is easy to detect. The more closely a script/bot acts like a human the harder it becomes to detect, but still very much possible given enough time to observe it.
You don’t have to.

Every single one of them was a bot and got banned. So, yes…. Regardless of what you say, players can detect bots.
