Remember the "dedicated balance team" ccp promised last summer? CSM member reveals ccp ***canned it

That would require a dedicated team of balancers, which CCP apparently removed.

Have fun with those in null sec.

Here in poland you can stay for 12 months with child and you get 80% salary in that time.

Sad that it appears that Jin’taan is the only CSM member reaching out to the community as a whole on a regular basis.
The rest appear to be placeholders for corp/alliance inside information brokers and fixers.
In other words, a typical CSM.

Players just got better and faster at solving the meta. Every scrub now got EFT installed. Every scrub can now inject into the OP ship instantly. All alliances copy whatever PL is doing. Every ship and its 1 viable fit is known by everyone. Another consequence of this game being too damn old. No dev can keep up.

I’m one of the few people who care enough to deal with the ā– ā– ā– ā–  that comes with interacting with the community, to be blunt. Getting blamed for literally everything tends to tire oneself out.

And we definitely appreciate it, Jin’taan.

I said this in the meeting where the CSM was promosed a balance team, and I’ll say it here. ā€œI really hope this isn’t a plan to calm the playerbase down and then not do anything with this team once the news cycle changes to something else to be mad aboutā€. Let’s just say I wasn’t surprised.

Regardless of ā€œits hardā€ seems you are ā€œfewā€(only one) so far that is more than just an echo chamber from how many of you?

Community is what it is ā€œyou made your bedā€ and i don’t think it will go anywhere but worse each day coming.

Thanks for the info.

Or in fact, any of the countries which gives very similar maternity leave (I do not wish to alarm you, but, a lot of these countries also give paternity leave).

mkay, i’m living in country where paternity leave is allowed :innocent::sunglasses:

In the UK, 38% of people believe that removing these rights and ones like them are a good thing too.

People can often suck.

Nobody in the UK general public believes in removing such rights, bear in mind that many of the UK’s employment and maternity rights exceed the minimums set by the EU.

And how long do you think that will last? If you think more than 5 seconds after THE EVENT then youll be believing in 350m too?

Edit: This is politics and I shouldnt have brought it up.

Don’t worry, I’m not the kind of person who descends into insults if someone has a different point of view

Eroding any of those rights would be political suicide. In response to to original disbelief at maternity leave I’ll just point out my wife had 12 months paid leave, and got a bonus for going back earlier. I love living in a progressive society.

I totally agree with your sentiment, I just have seen the current shower do things in the past (and present) which lead me to believe that we will no longer have a progressive society. If we ever really did. Of course, my own particular geographical placement within this scenario makes things even more up in the air.

I’m reasonably convinced that the kind of person who wants to go into politics is usually the last kind of person who should be allowed to

I would definately agree there.
