You don’t understand where I’m going because you’re using circular reasoning.
What I’m saying is that EM is not only limited by ISK, but also by time. This is what creates the choice between time-efficient turn-ins and cost-efficient turn-ins.
By suggesting a player can choose between ‘50k EM or 10k EM’ for their daily turn-in, you make the assumption that time is not an issue, which it is.
Time is a constraint
At the moment, players can get between 2.6k to 4k EM by turning in a ship (not 50k or 10k)
This means you’re looking at turning in at least two days of ships for a single emblem even on the smallest ship, or even up to 9 times for the largest ships if you pick the cost-effective option. Using the time-efficient option you can get that titan emblem within 7 days instead, saving you two days. And then you only have a single ship covered, while there are hundreds of ships of which pretty much everyone uses multiple.
In short, you will spend time multiple days to get the EM.
Of course you can say that time-efficiency is not a thing and talk about getting 50k EM daily, but you cannot get 50k EM daily, not even 10k.
By design, you need to turn in ships multiple days, and you can save some of that time by turning in more expensive ships.
By suggesting you ‘can choose between 50k or 10k EM’, which is between four to ten times more than you can get in reality, you by default make time not an issue for obtaining emblems, and use that presumption to then pretend that my claim that time is an issue, is not an issue.
Oh, you are still hanging around this minmaxing thing. I got your point already, it is trivial. And it is just a small portion of the ways peole want to interact with EM. What you perceive as “circular reasoning” is my repeated attempts to widen your horizon. Read my post with an open mind again please.
I just thaught my self, give these evermarks a try,…
And the best part about Evermark is, I just saw I have 20k Evermarks. so, I wanted to get one alliance emblem. did 18 jumps to see that the dealer says I have none. to make it short, that system isn’t just ridiculous it’s buggy too!
on the other hand,… i don’t see me ever do any mission to get evermarks actively. To make it short the complete system around these evermarks is complete ******** and if they turn it 180 degrees, i will ignore it from now on.
