Request for CSM Review — The New Eden Frontier Expansion Proposal

Hello CSM representatives and fellow capsuleers,

I’ve recently published an extensive expansion proposal titled EVE Online: The New Eden Frontier in the Player Features & Ideas forum.

The proposal explores introducing a persistent, strategically adaptive NPC civilization through a multi-year invasion campaign, followed by permanent territorial warfare and periodic major offensives.

It also examines interconnected gameplay opportunities involving capital ships, mobile forward operating bases, resource anomalies, industrial logistics, battlefield salvage, and meaningful sovereignty defense.

I’m bringing this to the Assembly Hall to request CSM review and constructive discussion.

I’m not asking for every proposed mechanic to be accepted as written. Some ideas are intentionally ambitious, and I recognize that technical limitations, economic balance, and existing gameplay systems would require consideration.

What I’m interested in is whether the underlying concept could provide meaningful long-term content for EVE Online, and which parts deserve further development, modification, or reconsideration.

Full proposal and discussion:

I would appreciate perspectives from CSM representatives across different areas of gameplay, including PvE, PvP, sovereignty, industry, logistics, and smaller corporation experiences.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

I think people who use AI to post long-winded garbage on the forum should be treated like botters and banned accordingly.

For clarification, this proposal is a collection of my own ideas, notes, and discussions I’ve had with other EVE players over time.

I used AI to help organize my scattered thoughts, refine the wording, and turn that material into a coherent, readable proposal.

I’m not claiming to be a professional game designer or writer. I simply had a lot of ideas I wanted to put forward in a way people could actually follow.

I’m more than happy to discuss the concepts, their feasibility, and potential improvements. That’s why I posted them in the first place.
