My EVE Story
A relative asked me to play EVE Online in 2013 and then immediately pushed me into starting an industry corp in High Sec Yulai Heavy Industries. We mined together, built ships and eventually even capitals as we grew into a solid group, then ventured into Null Sec as renters. Over time we drifted apart, and I discovered PvP was what I wanted to do so I shuttered my corp. I eventually found more friends, became a director of Lethal Injection and moved around to multiple groups as we grew; CO2, The Culture, Triumvirate, and Pandemic Legion even dipped my toes into wormholes for a short time (WHs are scary; you really need Rat Jesus). Today I’m having a blast in Faction Warfare with the Minmatar Fleet Alliance. I’ve experienced all corners of space and I want to carry that breadth of knowledge to help everyone be heard.
Areas of Expertise
Qualities That Set Me Apart
I’ve flown across just about every region of New Eden, been shot at, and shot just about everyone. I’m a D-tier FC, C-tier nano pilot, and B-tier local trash talker. I understand the perspectives of pilots in High Sec, Low Sec, Null Sec, Faction Warfare, and Wormholes—and I’ll make sure all voices are heard and concerns addressed. I’m not tied to anything other than helping CCP and the CSM help to keep making improvements on the game.
Why I’m Applying for the CSM
EVE and its pilots helped me through some of the toughest parts of my life. I want to give back by improving the game I love. I see room for more content and fresh objectives, and I’m committed to pushing for features that keep players engaged across every space.

Hello Orion Sa-Solo, first of all good luck with your campaign
…and may the best will win ofc
(I will great every candidate this way
)
Hope you find time to share your thoughts on below topics and game ideas.
1. EVE Vanguard
Have you had an occasion to try it during Operation Nemesis or earlier? What was your impression if any?
What do you think about bidirectional connection planned with EVE Online? Do you see it has a potential to attract more players towards New Eden? And do you think Capsuleers will benefit from it?

2. Information & ISK itemization
How about being able to take a notes from your notepad and put it as an item into container or ship cargo? Same with an amount of ISK? Just like you can do with PLEX.

Would you pitch CCP to consider implementing it?

3. Production Plans
Basically the idea behind this is to bundle all the BPOs (BPCs), required to produce some final product, say, an assembled Drake fully fitted according to some saved fit ready for duty, into a single BPO-like item, and internally arranged into an intricate production workflow. Complete with logistics tasks, if necessary, using delivery corp projects. It could use BPMN diagram editor to arrange.
When installed into industrial job slot it will churn out those Drakes, provided there are required materials in linked containers or pause until they are become available again.

Would you pitch CCP to consider implementing it? Or at least expand ESI to allow 3rd party developers to do it?

I did try it out a bit. I played FPS games on console mostly so my experience wasn’t as good as I would have liked, but that is my short fall not so much Vanguards. It is really too early for me to give anything other that it still needs a lot polish. I love the aesthetic of it a lot, but if you are wanting to pull some FPS players we have to either make a option for more intuitive as you play into the game. FPS for me is jump in grab my load out and shoot things, or like Tarkov loot and exfil. I know we Eve folks like a complicated game, but for an FPS a streamlined pipe to PvP will help grab more casual FPS people imo. Then let that harder learning curve stuff build into it. Though this is a very light overview as I did not play it a lot.

It is something that I wouldn’t be opposed to looking at it right, but the technical part is what I’d ask about if I did bring it up. What other use cases would you think this would help with?
-
I think something like this could help early developing Industrial Corporations if there is a way for it to be done. Worst case CCP can let me know why this couldn’t be a thing, or maybe the latter ESI part.
Thank you and your write ups are great so thank you for your time in it and maybe if I get the chance I can bring these things up.
