Requesting Eve Online Developers Create an integrated stocks and shares investment platform.This could include all public player corporations. Any thoughts on this?
HAHA honored by whom? In a game where scamming is allowed and encouraged, stocks in a null mega-alliance would get you nothing but scammed. You’d buy 1,000 shares at 70m ISK per share and all you’ve done is give that corp 70 billion ISK for a meaningless number. You get no say in the Alliance’s leadership. Real life laws don’t apply to New Eden. And good luck selling it since the Alliance is under no obligation to give back your 70 billion.
Oh, and if you don’t believe me, give me 1 billion ISK for a demonstration. I promise to hand it back immediately.

Corporation shares already exist, and the idea of a stock market goes back to the very earliest days of EVE. From the 2002 announcement:
EVE ONLINE will have a unique "stock exchange " in which gamers will be able to purchase stock in corporations. The stock exchange will go up and down as trades occur, just like the real world.
If the idea was workable, I think it would have been implemented already sometime in the last 23 years.
I am unsure if you did enough research on these forums or on the old forums if your idea is brilliant and unique or even applicable?
This is one of those things that periodically come up and you could have yourself spared any possible embarassment if you had just used the search function before posting.
Based on the above i predict that your thread implodes or explodes rather soon.

Exactly this. And CCP will never add an official “stockmarket” or “banking” system because it would remove the ability to scam and just be a safe place to farm even more billions/trillions of isk, which would inevitably destabilize the entire economy, including precious PLEX sales.
