Resistance

Just checked a fit on an omega character and later on a alpha alt. The resistance on the same fit is basically 1% different. While the omega has 5/5 on every resistance. Is this correct?

There is no built-in difference, it’s all about skills. I bet you have passive resists fitted and one character has some of the compensation skills trained.

its actually this fit:

What do you mean?

The skills apply to passive modules only as far as I’m aware try adding 1 damage control in the low. This is also where armor has an advantage becuase they have passive omni resi modules that take adv of the resistance skills.

Resistance is futile…

Okay, I’ve never run WH sites, but the fact that you have zero damage mods and damage application mods doesn’t bode well for your isk efficiency (and possibly even your survivability, if you can’t kill smaller ships). I dunno man, but you might want to try looking up some fits. For example, ashy in space made a WH krabbing guide that’s only a year old, so it should still be up to date (you can always evemail her if you’re concerned about it though). You might also try asking in the PraiseBob discord server (sorry, don’t have a link).

Example fit from Ashy in Space

Anyway, skills don’t impact resists for active mods -only passive. So, that’s why the resist profiles are the same.

When I used to do it I remember using a nighthawk doing 3’s pretty fast was about 200m/h, It can do 4’s but its abit dicy the RR from the rat’s lowers the income a bit. Maruaders are king atm.

But I mean just go onto the test server (op) try your fit if it tank’s fine then add 1 damage mod remove tank and keep going till you find a nice balance.

Rappid heavies should work fine on the frig rat’s, asuming they have the same application as normal heavies.

Battery + shield recharges seem’s odd to me they will wipe out your cap with neut’s might as well go double battery for that extra neut resistance and do active tank, but not sure if its enough will have to do tests.

I remember using a mutaplasmid on the battery to increase the neut resi a bit as well it helped a ton.

2 years ago with this fit you’d be able to run al c3 sites solo. Some not being worth it because or RR sleepers making it taking to long. Not sure if it still possible because it seems the damage and resitance is lower then what it was back then. You’d kill a site that drops 44 million in about 15 minutes. Less ofcourse if you do them together with someone else. Since you say you havent run sleeper sites, you probably miss a small thing. These sites you do with a mobile depot out and you swap modules as you go. To gain some cap quickly or to increase some damage etc.

Might be a little different with the shield eHP though it is Cap Stable and Alpha flyable

I’m confused by both tank’s the passive recharge + shield booster

The cap recharge bonus & cpu fit

You don’t have to be confused, it’s a dumb fit. Nothing to be confused about other than discarding it.

Ship’s fit is at least workable.
