Update 22:20 - We do not expect that Tranquility will be accessible for at least the next couple of hours, most likely longer. Our Ops team are exploring all possibilities as to the cause of the outage.

I could certainly eat skill points. I was scheduled to pop in a +10 accelerator at 7pm ET, that’s gone down the pan now. Those hours count in the skill book realm.
Won 't it be greasy ? The servers have been lying for only 3 hours so far. It was correctly written above that the price for them is 10 cents. Here are 3 days of omega, as for delays with the support service - already quite a worthy compensation.
If we’re offline, the belt rats should be having a crafty smoke break behind the moon, or rolling up doobs and chilling in station.
I was safely docked, but as an Eve Player I demand free isk for this outrage!

could be some people might be slow and cant se the implication of a plain crasging into the server farm.
but most people i think might get the hint where the issue is.
you dont have to understand it in detail but most people will get an idea.
imagine going to a doctor and he is telling you you are no docter so it would be pointless to tell you about what we have faund just take this pills.

Lol. No it’s not, and here’s why:
- It’s their job to know. If they don’t know? They f**ked up.
- It’s their job to keep the servers working. If the servers ain’t working? They f**ked up.
This isn’t like a car, where the mechanic hands it off to you and isn’t responsible for the crap you do with it before you bring it back. This is like being on a ship at sea, where the crew has to be constantly monitoring for problems, engaging redundancies, and working to conduct maintenance and repair while underway so there’s no loss of time or efficiency.
IOW: there is no ‘we don’t want you to know we f**ked up’.
Because as soon as players know a problem exists, they f**ked up.
A damn good example, because even if the doctor explains in all the details, I won’t understand a damn thing, but I will follow his recommendations. Because I really am not a doctor.
